Nice gathering place older in the early hours of the day. Gets younger later but a good young crowd nothing rowdy older and young have good conversations and vibes bartenders are a great balance nice ladies. Definitely worth a check in

This was a great little place. We’ve been wanting to go here for awhile to see Hank Lee’s karaoke show. Definitely did not disappoint.
His sound system was top notch and Hank was a real nice friendly guy as well.
The locals there were just as nice as could be.
Only 4 stars because the food was only so so.
But we didn’t go for the food anyways, so all is good.
I would recommend AJs for sure.

Drinks were on the higher side for the area, and very smokey. They don’t have the best ventilation. For a place that allows smoking I thought it would be more ventilating, I was wrong.

This was my first time here!! Shannon the bartender was so nice and friendly! It was her birthday celebration and she even offered me a cupcake for her birthday as she mentioned was sharing with her guests! That was so kind especially sinc3 I’ve never been there! The 2 Erica’s are absolutely amazing, prices are stupidly cheap, and they actually care about their customers. It’s absolutely refreshing to be accepted as a regular here. One of the best watering hiles in the tampa bay area!

Was my first time at AJ’s sports bar last week on Thursday I was there for a Plenty of Fish event. Is it that was from 7 to 11. The staff was very friendly I have a good selection of food and you think maybe because of the event they might have had discounted drinks that was not the case. Maybe people would have drank more if it was. My order of french fries took an astounding 45 minutes to get to my table. Just a basket of french fries. 5 minutes tops cooking time. Took 45 minutes. But the company was exceptional and the staff was again very friendly parking was a little limited we were supposed to have a 187 people show up and there’s no way in hell that parking lot would have held anywhere close to that. Other than that had a great time there met a few new friends. I would recommend it as a place to hang out just chat with friends they have a few pool tables in the back and some video games and they have events that go on like bingo and karaoke. Overall not such a bad place to stop by and have a few drinks and maybe some food.

Drink prices were good, food was not good, ordered blackened fish, came out not blackened and a bit dry. Wings were ok, but were also a bit over cooked. I remember the food here was good in the past. I haven’t been in here in several years. Looks like it may be several more before I come back again. Bartender was nice enough with timely service. Gave us a free drink after she mistakenly brought an extra one we didn’t order, and later said it was because of the food order mix up.
