*WARNING!!!*. BLACK MOLD ON TABLES!!!
This place needs to be shut down! Remodeling debri still under the tables from a year ago when I went the last time. Figured maybe they would be finished remodeling but apparently they never started and the pool tables are mini dumpsters loaded with trash below and they still rent the tables! The flooring was removed but there is still old padding or rugs it looks crazy and there are trip hazards everywhere. We just went ahead and played since we were there because we planned to play pool but I knew it might be suspect and I wish I wouldn’t have because when we got finished I noticed I had black smudge on my hand from putting it on the table to shoot. Most of the tables are completely done far as condition with water stains, rips, lint balls, dirt and grime…absolutely the worst pool hall on the planet. Could not imagine eating there. It looks like no obey has gone into the place since it opened in the 1990’s. !

My husband and I stopped in last night to shoot pool and enjoy the late night food that we’d heard so many great things about. As soon as we walked in we noticed that the carpet was extremely old and being held together by duct tape nearly every square foot. This wasn’t too concerning since a lot of businesses on the west side of the interstate fail to update/reinvest in their establishments but still offer a pleasant experience. We proceed to order our food, drinks, and rented our pool table. Everything is ok at this point but that changed quickly. As my husband shot pool I noticed a small critter running under a table behind him. This made me extremely uncomfortable as I have an overwhelming fear of mice. When our food finally came out I could not eat it due to my skin crawling and stomach turning. My husband took a picture of the mouse and I pretty much wanted to leave at that point.
When we go to close our tab we ask for my meal to be taken off, as I didn’t eat it after being disgusted by the mouse. The bartender was sweet and understanding however, after she spoke to the owner/manager he wasn’t willing to comp the meal. The bartender was frustrated, and so were we! He wasn’t even willing to come out of the kitchen to speak with us. We didn’t feel we were being unreasonable, so we patiently waited to speak with him for about 10 minutes. He never came out and we could hear him upset in the back. Finally, the bartender closed the tab and removed my meal. This was our first time attending and we’ll never support this place again.

This is a typical pool hall. It’s dimly lit, has wood paneling, and the carpet is in patches. BUT, playing pool and drinking is cheap, the bartender was friendly, and they have TouchTunes so you can listen to what you want! The food smelled amazing but we had already had dinner. Next time!

I did not eat anything here. The service at the bar was a tad slow but it was just two of them working so I get it. The atmosphere was pretty cool. I would say if this place had a full cosmetic makeover and added more staff, I wouldn’t doubt this place would be a 5star place.

Had not been here since before COVID hit and went back. I was not surprised to feel that same cool atmosphere and service as before! I was happy to hear that Angie, the greatest cook still works there. I am gonna go back for some of her fabulous chili first chance I get!

The food is amazing. Especially if you go during the daytime (like 1030 am -2pm) on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. They have daily food specials. Angie is a great cook! Atmosphere is kind “blah” but if you’re going to play pool that’s your vibe right there. Music option is a juke box. They have a full bar. And the service is good as well. They have regular customers who are just as friendly as the staff. You will definitely fit right on in at airway.

Have been coming here for as long as I can remember being in Ohio. It’s one of my safe places, got a good vibe and the bartenders are sweet and lovely. That cook knows how to throw down in that kitchen too.
