We came by on a Friday night for dinner not knowing what to expect, except for the great reviews. It is located above the street level so it was a bit hard to find, but so glad that we did!

Our server was Will and he was so attentive and knowledgeable. He provided us with great recommendations and also was very sweet. We did not catch Chef’s name, but he did come out to greet us at the end of the meal.

Speaking of the meal – what a fantastic dinner. We ordered a half dozen oysters and the fried calamari to start. The calamari was perfect – it was not over battered or breaded and the texture was 10/10. It was also not greasy at all. The oysters were a generous size and Will brought us out horseradish to enjoy with the cocktails sauce.

Our steak – 10/10. It came with loaded mashed potatoes and a fresh dinner salad with a choice of three dressings – we chose spicy mango and Lilikoi papaya. They were both delicious. The lobster was very tender and it was huge!

In addition to the sides that came with the meal, we ordered the mushroom medley and asparagus. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned and we ate every drop.

Overall the reviews lived up to the hype and we had a fantastic dinner in Waikiki to end our trip.

Thank you to the Aina team, for a great experience.

We had a late dinner reservation at this steakhouse and were disappointed to learn upon arrival that most items on the menu were unavailable due to the high volume of reservations. We decided to proceed and ordered the Wagyu steak, ahi carpaccio, and the only available sides (salad and mashed potatoes).

Unfortunately, the experience did not improve. The ahi was served more like sashimi than carpaccio, and when I requested lemon to make it more palatable, it never arrived. The steak, ordered medium, came out closer to medium-well, and the cut itself tasted like a lower-grade piece of meat. We couldn’t manage more than a couple of bites. The salad never came at all. The “truffle mashed potatoes” were particularly underwhelming – they resembled powdered mix potatoes, with no detectable hint of truffle or mushroom flavor.

While we understand that a late reservation can make for a long evening for staff, no one checked on our table to ask how the food was. When we asked for the cheque early, there seemed to be no surprise.

Overall, a disappointing experience and not one I would recommend.

We shared the mussels and then split a ribeye. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had-and we are
from Alberta who has excellent beef. It’s off the main drag in Waikiki but DONT MISS OUT ON FLAVOR. Ps hope you can try the Ube crème Brûlée ❤️❤️

I honestly cannot praise this place enough! The service really made the experience so special. Our server and the owner were top notch. The owner really sold our order. My boyfriend got the ribeye and I got lobster. We got oysters to start. The mango spice house dressing for the salad was perfect- not too spicey at all. Our food was delicious! The owner came and checked on us numerous times. We even got an extra order of mashed potatoes! I highly recommend coming here for a great night of food, service and ambiance!

The staffs were kind, but the food was not as good as them. I never want to recommand the seafood platter. The King crab were super salty. And all the others were not that tasty either.
The potter house steak was not bad but not good either. We ordered it medium-well, and it seemed medium. Two of my family cannot have raw food due to their health problem, but it was not cooked as we wanted. The outside of it was slightly burnt, and had a bit of burnt taste.
It was 400 dollars for 4 adults and definitely not worth it.

We absolutely loved our experience at this restaurant!
It’s one of the very few places where we’ve had such a perfectly cooked and flavorful steak — truly impressive.
The service was also excellent: attentive, friendly, and professional.

The dessert *crème brûlée* was the best we’ve ever had! The texture was incredibly smooth and creamy. The music was also very good! We had a good time.

We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great steak and an unforgettable dining experience!

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! Owner was amazing and caring and was amazing! The server was attentive and really sweet when walking us through the menu. The best part is the amazing presentation of the food! 10 out of 10! Flavors are beyond what you expect. Definitely worth the price. Please come here, you’ll not be disappointed. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Worth every penny! Highly recommend! Super tender steak that I could cut with a butter knife, and the added roasted salt was a creative nice touch. Salad dressing make in house and so good! Mash potatoes and brussel sprouts were also amazing. As you can see, my family and I really enjoyed our dinner!

An amazing off the beaten path option for a celebration dinner! Simple, classy menu. Impeccable service. We had the place to ourselves as we went right at 5pm – and that was nice too! Ordered 40oz wet aged tomahawk and snow crab. We each received salad and shared potatoes! The wine lemon salt with the steak is divine! We’ll be back for another meal ❤️‍

We had crab cakes as an appetizer. the waygu and the lobster tail. A side of loaded mashed potatoes and the mixed mushrooms. The crab cakes were really good. The waygu was seasonless. We ordered it medium and it came out rare. There was no marble in our waygu. The lobster tail was severely over cooked and hard to chew. Also seasonless. We had to add melted butter and salt to everything. The potatoes had so much potential but also lacked seasoning, Which is hard to do with cheese and bacon added in. The mushrooms were decent.

The ambiance was ok. Tables were too close together and the waiters could barely fit between them. They had battery operated tea lights but if I’m paying 200 for a meal at least give me a real candle.

Overall. Not worth the money.
