Plain cheese you can not go wrong, very solid. They do not hold back on the cheese which costs the shops the most money. They are known for cheese, we all appreciate it.

Excellent pizza! Finally got to try this place and I was not disappointed. Had a large traditional pizza with pepperoni, ham, spinach, tomato and roasted peppers.
Spinach is a great test on pizza because it’s really easy to burn. The spinach at Aiello’s was cooked perfectly, unlike most other places in the area.
The sauce really brings something extra to the table and the crust is exceptionally good. I could easily overeat a pizza this good lol.
Only downside, and this is probably because of how many toppings we got, is that I had to knife and fork it because the undercarriage was too floppy.
Even so, this was still the most solid traditional pizza I’ve had in the area. I will definitely be back.
Thanks Aiello’s!!

The restaurant is great for families. My son and I had Mac and cheese bits and a small bacon pizza. The pizza was larger than expected and the crust was great. Highly recommend.

I had a very friendly experience on my first visit to this new location. This place looks brand new! It is very clean, cozy and spacious with nice high ceilings in the dining area. The food was prepared perfectly. You could taste the freshness of the dough, sauce and toppings! This is my new go-to place for pizza, hoagies and a relaxing place to enjoy a meal!

I called and ordered a large pizza and wings. I asked several times to the person who took my order are the wings breaded ?. I repeatedly told her I do not want breaded wings and guess what I got, breaded wings! Pizza was good though

I recently moved here and I’m having a hard time finding a good pie. This place has ok dough if you like it gewy and the sauce had 0 taste. I ordered the traditional plain small. I’m in search of a good ny style pizza so if anyone has any good recommendations, please point me in the right direction. I’ve tried so many places and the best place so far is in the strip district named “ Colangelo’s Pizza”. Very fresh ingredients and fantastic spice.

Aiello’s North is affiliated with the one in Squirrel Hill. Great pizza.
Note: They do add a credit card surcharge, so cash is preferred,

Aiello’s Pizza in Shaler, right outside of Glenshaw, is definitely a place worth checking out! I walked in and was immediately hit with the incredible smell of freshly made pizza and food—instantly making me even hungrier. I was so excited to dig in that I forgot to snap pictures of the re-done interior of the old Pizza Rita’s building. They’ve done a nice job updating the space, giving it a fresh, clean feel while keeping that cozy, local pizza shop vibe.
I went for the steak salad with fries on top and their house Italian dressing, and I wasn’t disappointed. Everything was super fresh, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The fries added a nice crunch and flavor, and the house dressing pulled it all together. Definitely one of the better steak salads I’ve had in a while.
I’ll definitely be heading back, not just for the pizza but to try more of their menu. Great atmosphere, great food—it’s a win all around!

Aiello’s was disappointing. Doesn’t compare to Mineo’s at all. There are many more better local pizza joints in the city and the surrounding suburbs.
Everything about this pizza was bland. Weak crust, greasy cheese, skimpy toppings, bland flavor. I won’t be getting this again.
