As a lifelong Coloradan with little experience with non land locked sushi, this place is great. Maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about, but I like it and the people are nice, service is fast and I am always happy and full when I leave. The unagi is my favorite. Smoky and sweet and melts in your mouth. The new ai roll is really good too I like the Korean chili sauce on top and it has a good balance of flavor. If you order enough they’ll give you a bird made of ice to eat it off of

Pretty good sushi, at least the best sushi I’ve had this far from a coast. Excellent food plating. Comfortable booths, quiet, good lighting. We didn’t do hibachi. Servers were very helpful and attentive. Would definitely come here again!

I used to come here with my late wife. Many a date night I would take her. It’s been about three or four years since I’ve been there, but wow, how it has fallen. Clearly they are using food dye in the simple Spicy Tuna. I’m actually pretty grossed out at what I brought home on what would’ve been my 24th wedding anniversary. The spicy salmon is the grossest “salmon” I’ve ever tasted. I ended up feeding it to my dog. The kicker; my late wife LOVED their Philly Roll. So I got one tonight. I ended up feeding the last 2 pieces to my dog, as well.

I’m not picky for sushi. I’m not, but hands down this was the worst sushi experience of my life.

Sorry, babe, I’m the future I gotta go elsewhere to honor you.

BTW: I’ve revised this review three times as I’ve worked my way thru the meal … I kept dropping it by a star each time.

It was okay honestly. My friend and I tried the hibachi tonight because I heard they were the best in town. The waitress was amazing and she was really sweet! The hibachi chef on the other hand wasn’t really friendly and it wasn’t really exciting to watch him cook. He was probably tired and that’s okay. The fried rice was amazing! The steak was a little overcooked and under seasoned, but the veggies were good as well!

We went with a large group (16 people) and had hibachi. One of our waitresses was amazing and so sweet! The other wasn’t quite as personable, but overall service was fine for a big group.

The hibachi chefs were friendly and put on a great show. The fried rice was delicious, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The shrimp was a little overcooked and slightly salty, but the veggies were good. I also enjoyed that the hibachi meal comes with miso soup and a side salad.

Apple was amazing. She took such great care of us! It was our first time being there. It was my son‘s 21st birthday and we were treated with such royalty and the food was amazing! Very clean! The whole staff was accommodating I can’t say enough good things about this place! Thank you all for taking such great care of us!

The yakisoba with shrimp and steak was incredible, and such a good value for the money. Prompt and excellent service. Great for a night out. I would definitely come back.

Helpful staff, very quick with the drinks. Fresh everything and a top notch hibachi. One of our favorite places to eat while in Colorado Springs.

We’ve eaten here a couple of times and had pretty positive experiences each time. This last time, the food was very good, seating was immediate, the restaurant was very clean and tidy, but the service was pretty poor. Our waitress obviously didn’t really want to be there and was short and curt each time she came to our table. I will admit that we took a long time to make food decisions (we don’t do sushi often, so it’s kind of intimidating and difficult!), but the first time that we felt any warmth from her was when she was delivering the check…

Parking at this location is usually pretty difficult because of the theater and all of the businesses around.

As I mentioned, the restaurant has been very clean and attractive each time we’ve been in. We haven’t done the hibachi at this restaurant, so can’t comment on that, but the rest of the restaurant is very comfortable. Also, the food has been consistently very good, so I feel you can be pretty confident in that – we had 4 rolls and enjoyed each dish!

Lastly, I consider it to be pretty pricey, but that’s to be expected with sushi, so I don’t think many people would be particularly surprised about that.

My dinner was good, had the tofu stir fry and pineapple sake. But had to take 4 stars off for the quality of service. Absolutely horrible!
Two of the people in our party did not get their dinner order. The rest of us were done with our food and it was at least 25 minutes after most of the food came out our waitress was nowhere to be found took us that long to flag her down and ask her where the other two plates were. I was a server for a long time and top priority is good communication with the guest. She said the food They ordered was not available but the manager said he would take 10% off if they wanted to order something else. That is completely unacceptable to make a customer wait almost 30 minutes after everyone else received their food That should have been a free dinner for those two people, 10% is ridiculous. At the very least it should have been communicated within the first 10 minutes of serving the table that their food would not be available. And we shouldn’t have to flag our server down to ask where the food is. My friends went home hungry I cannot believe they would treat customers this way.
