Don’t let the humble appearance fool you. The food is great, the portions are good (super generous with their protein in the poke bowls!) and the owners have such a cool history. They love being in athens the last 6 years and I love supporting something local!

We have been using this place on Uber eats for about a year now it is a little once a month easy dinner for us. It started as it seemed to be the best price for the best portion, however we quickly discovered the food here is amazing! Not to salty not bland great sauces and they are very quick. As normally my boyfriend and I order it together we appreciate the quickness after work however I today decided to order on my own and I forgot to put in the special instructions for no cabbage and they remembered! I also normally order yum yum sauce for my boyfriend as I don’t eat it and they put that in there as well. Not only is the food great quick a good portion and very reasonably priced they also remembered me and how I like my food top notch customer service and especially over the top considering it is take out through Uber we rarely ever go in face to face. Highly recommended this place to anyone.

Extremely disappointed in my veggie hibachi. Other places I’ve gotten veggie options at least had a 2-3 veggie medley (carrots/ zucchini/ broccoli/ onions). My veggie hibachi was just straight broccoli with 1 singular carrot slice and one singular zucchini slice. It did have some cabbage/ 5ish onion slices. But if you are looking for a veggie option I would not recommend. Absolute waste of my money. If I wanted broccoli and rice I coulda just made it myself lol.

I have been to many hole in the wall cheap hibachi shops and this is the bay far the best one of all. I got steak hibachi and spicy tuna. Spicy tuna was not the whole chunk but chopped and mushed still tasty and good quality. More spicy tuna than rice and other ingredients which is a plus. Steak in hibachi was in point. Not too chewy and didn’t have to pay for extra hibachi mayo sauce. Great place definitely will visit again!

I have been very excited to try out Ahi Poke and was not disappointed. It is downtown on Clayton St, so it can be difficult to find parking during busy times. You come in, fill out a sheet of what you want, pay for the food, and then wait for them to serve it up for you. It was not a long wait at all. I loved that I could choose exactly what I wanted to try, and my choices turned out to be delicious. There are a decent amount of tables for you to sit at, and it wasn’t too busy on a Thursday evening. I would recommend trying it out.
