Opened in 2010, the goal of Ah’ Pizz was to create a pizzeria that serves authentic, Neapolitan pizza and to bring fresh ingredients and the art of pizza-making to downtown Montclair, NJ. Pizza at Ah’ Pizz is delicately prepared using imported, Italian ingredients and cooked for less than 90 seconds in a wood-fired stone oven. This artisan approach to pizza-making was a first for the area, and patrons soon started coming from all over New Jersey to experience it.

Ah Pizz Restaurant completely exceeded my expectations! I ordered the Shrimp Scampi Pizza, and wow it was absolutely incredible. The crust was perfectly baked with just the right crisp, the shrimp were fresh and flavorful, and the scampi sauce was rich without being overpowering. The fresh mozzarella and parmesan brought everything together beautifully.
You can really taste the quality in every bite. This is the kind of pizza that feels thoughtfully made, not rushed. On top of that, the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.
If you’re looking for a place that serves unique, high-quality pizza done right, Ah Pizz is the spot. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this place to anyone who loves great food.

I have been meaning to try this place for more than 10 years. I am happy they are still in business. The pizza was about as good as it gets. The crust was wonderful. It was crispy outside and chewy inside. I had the gorgonzola cheese and fig pizza with prosciutto and balsamic reduction. I asked for artichoke hearts and baby arugula to be added. A wonderful pie!

We ordered their signature pizza but was not a fan because it was really thin, soggy and top heavy with cherry tomatoes making it difficult to hold. It also had too many burnt parts for me on the crust.
There were so many different food options. We’ll have to try a different pizza and their other food.

My husband and I have been enjoying Ah Pizz Montclair for more than two years. We occasionally dine in but mostly order take out. The food and pizza are excellent! Our favorite dinner is the Chicken Arrosto which consists of wonderful grilled chicken with fresh sautéed spinach, roasted red peppers and homemade mashed potatoes. It is absolutely delicious! We also love the escarole and bean soup which tastes like my grandmother’s recipe. Try Ah Pizz Montclair, you won’t be disappointed 🙂

My friends from church in Montclair recommended this place and I thought we would try it. It was such a great vibe coming in beautifully decorated for Valentines Day!! From the time we were seated to our dining experience!! Our food was so delicious, to our server Adam who was helpful with choosing the right appetizer and entrees…we will definitely be back with our family!!

My husband and I had a lovely dinner here on Friday night. The heart shaped burrata pizza and rigatoni à la vodka were to die for. Our waiter Adam was very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make our dining experience a pleasant one. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back!

After we paid and left without tipping .The server who served us calls us outside of the restaurant screaming saying yo no tips for me?
Like why? Why would we tip when we didn’t even got a good service or good food.
Why? And when my bf said the food was disappointed he said (IS THAT MY FAULT)?

Should have read the reviews before dining. From the gross, cold and sour food to the borderline racism, all was true. But I’ve never been more disrespected like this before by any server. I did not tip because it’s my right to not tip based on quality and service. YOU ARE NOT entitled to a single cent. The server he chased me down the street to literally scream like I owed him money. Screaming “how am I supposed to pay my rent” Sir you are on the public sidewalk and not on private property. He extremely lucky because it would ended poorly for him if he had gotten in my personal space. Disgusting food and service.
If you’re the owner, shame on you and your staff and get a better microwave.
