I, along with my family and friends, have a patron at Ah Pizza for several years… it’s hard yo believe that this venue has gotten better than ever. The food , from it’s home made pasta, cheeses, meats, and above all pizzas, are fresh, delicious and cost friendly. The service is excellent.. The desserts, mostly house made, are “too die for”…i wish continued success to “Ah Pizza”…PS… see you soon.

Definitely a great additionto downtown Montclair! We ate outside and we could not have been more pleased. The pizzas were nicely sized and the helpful friendly waitstaff really made everything fantastic. Perfect if you have any dietary restrictions.

We enjoyed a great meal with great friends. Service was prompt and efficient. We kept it simple and just shared 4 different pizzas, and we liked them all. Nice crispy crust, not too soft in the middle.

Used to come here all the time because the food is good. But recently, the service is typically abysmal. Just today, I went for lunch and the place was mostly empty except two or three other tables. I sat for a full five minutes without anyone speaking to me, let alone taking my order. Normally I’d let this slide, except for the two workers 10 feet away who were deeply engaged in a conversation, looked right at me multiple times and ignored me as I looked around the place wondering if anyone was going to take my order, and when I got up to leave, and asked if anyone was working that station, the guy says “I’ll go get so-and-so if you want.”

BIGOTS. They were near closing when myself, my partner, and my daughter attempted to order takeout. My partner, a Black man, walked in and politely asked if they were still taking orders, as it was about 20 mins before closing and he was told yes, they were taking still taking orders, and the kind Mexican man directed him to hostess/person up front, a white woman. She overheard, saw my partner approaching, and turned her back to us, and said to another employee, “I’m not taking his order” in the nastiest tone. The gentleman she was talking to just looked at us and didn’t budge either—essentially co-signing her decision. We were aghast, and livid. But rather than make a scene, we walked out.

Best Neapolitan pizza I’ve ever had! The baked mozzarella wrapped with prosciutto wasn’t up my alley, but that pizza and the gnocchi with pesto cream sauce was too damn good to knock them down! AWESOME pizza!

The fried zucchini flowers are actually very good! The calamari was just calamari nothing crazy. But the sauce is delicious. My dish of gnocchi and pesto was ok as well. The sauce was very watery and missing some flavor. My boyfriend’s dish cavatelli he said was delicious. Service was nice and quick. Even at the hour we went which was a good busy.
