While we were eating a younger couple with their large dirty dog came inside and sat next to our table. The employee handled the situation perfectly even though the girl was rude and raised her voice towards here.
Very professional! Very good food! Will come back!!
They have a wonderful sushi bar where one can see much of their fresh fish, as well as enjoy it. I am not a huge fan of fish, although I do enjoy, what I like to call, “Sushi light.” Sushi light denotes California rolls, as well as cream cheese rolls. This is also the establishment where I first ventured a bit further into real sushi, by partaking in my first thunder roll and dragon roll. They were quite tasty!
Their edamame is my usual appetizer and it has a nice ratio of salt to soybean. They are tender and nicely prepared.
I have also enjoyed their Miso soup and the teriyaki beef is quite good!
Jennifer is a wonderful manager who has been with them for years, and Ashley is a patient and kind waitress whom I hope to be served by again. Adriana is also sweet.
They have a competent waitstaff who truly work quite hard.
On a weekend, I would recommend
making reservations.
They have clean restrooms and a small area to wait, if one must, for a table.
In more pleasant weather, they open their patio, and one can choose to be seated outside, at a table, in a booth, or at the sushi bar.
They offer booster seats and have numerous high chairs, as well.
During dinner hours, the restaurant appears to be split into two sections. One can either enjoy the conversations of one’s party or watch television on the other side.
Overall, their food and service have always been excellent.
My husband and I come here for sushi since it is close to where we live. The sushi is the best on the west side of town we have found. The raw, smoked salmon was delicious. The food is always made fresh and comes out quickly. The service is very good as well.
