Better than average Mexican. Classic “small town” Mexican restaurant. Nothing to exotic or unexpected, but they do a good job.

Quick stay in Burley. With many mexican restaurants to choose from, we were 100% satisfied with this hole in the wall. Great prices, great service and AMAZING food. I got the taco Platter and my husband a seafood dish. Everything was fresh and the kick we like in our food. The place is small and we arrived before crowds starting coming. Would totally do again.

Aguila Con El Taco is our go to place for authentic Mexican food. Starting from the beginning. Service is excellent. The owner is on-site always and is Customer service oriented to the Nth degree. Fine selections of draft beer on tap and food, well the food is the highlight of our day. We had chips and tomatillo salsa with Modelo Negra beer to start. Salsa is tart with slight heat that pairs well with the chips or everything. For our main course we had the Aztec tacos both carne asada and carnitas with a side Mexican rice and refried beans. The meat is tender and flavorful, and all of the components of the taco are perfectly balanced. Also there red (fire hot) salsa is excellent. We love this place and visit every time we are in town.
2nd Review. March 2023. Back in town and this joint did not disappoint. No matter the time frame the taste and quality are on point here. I do not hesitate to say that this place is the most consistent restaurant in which we’ve ever eaten. Service is excellent and the owner is a personable and eager to ensure your dining experience is everything you wish for. Our thanks to you Sir for your food and hospitality.
Third Review: a triumph again. We switched up this time and had the Aztec Wet Burrito with Carne Asada and Adobada (smoked pork) smothered in green salsa and topped with roasted jalapeños and avocado. Completely delicious. Paired with a Modelo Negra makes for a perfect meal. Thanks again for a great meal!

Haven’t been here in years, but the food is still fantastic! The service was a bit slow when we got there… Forgot that everything except the food is self serve. When you get there, seat yourself, then help yourself to drinks, and wait for your server to come and take your order. The food comes rather quickly, and it’s hot, tasty and good. My husband got chicken fajitas and I got 1 beef, 1 shrimp and 1 chicken street tacos, and they were yummie. The rice and beans that came with the fajitas were seasoned well and as flavorful as the meat in the fajitas. Go there and support this wonderful restaurant. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often, I miss the food.

An absolute gem of a restaurant. I live on the east coast but eat Aguila nearly every day when I visit Burley. Truly great Mexican food on par with anywhere at a great price. Would recommend the Aztec DF tacos with asada.

I had high hopes since this was pretty much the highest rated Mexican place with the most reviews in town, I was passing through. Sorry to say it but this was just bland and greasy. Got the fajitas and 3 tacos. I must be pickier than people in Burley.
