I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Agave today.
I have been vegan for over 15 years, and being vegan is deeply important to me. While dining, I discovered strips of chicken mixed into the bottom of my refried beans. I immediately spit it out. This is not a small mistake. For someone who does not consume animal products for ethical and personal reasons, this is very serious.
It also took quite a while to get someone’s attention to address the issue. When I finally did, they offered to bring me more beans, but after such a major error, I no longer felt comfortable trusting that the replacement would be handled properly. They offered to remove the beans from my bill, but still charged me for my other item.
While I appreciate the refund for the beans, I believe the entire meal should have been compensated given the severity of the mistake and the distress it caused. I chose not to go back and forth about it because I was already upset.
Unfortunately, I will not be returning. This experience was unacceptable and very disappointing.

Ordered the enchiladas verde’s for myself, my first bite as I’m chewing I notice a long black hair in my food right from where I just took my bite from (no one at the table has long black hair) I spit out my food and tug on the piece of hair and it’s so snug under or inside the enchilada I can’t even pull it out, waiter apologized and asked if I wanted it replaced, the enchiladas didn’t taste great anyway so I asked for something else instead, I got the 3 meat fajitas and they were good but the side of rice was very dry and the beans weren’t really served hot the cheese wasn’t even melted ontop. My girls meal was fine but still being hit with a 50$ bill, I think good service would of been comping my meal or some type of discount after chewing on some strangers hair.

I was hungry and this place was right across the street from my hotel. Got seated right away. I ordered a Margherita and the enchiladas dinner. I was surprised when the food arrived almost too quickly to the table. Turns out it was not cooked very well. The ingredients were prepared nicely, but if you don’t heat the food up what’s the point of serving it? The plate was warm to the touch, but you could look at the plate of food and see it was not heated properly. First sign a professional cook would have noticed: The cheese was only slightly melted on top. I tried the first enchilada, which was cheese. Of course the cheese inside was literally cool too the touch. Pass. Next one… same thing. Next one… same thing.
My meal was the equivalent of taking a cold shower. I ate a few bites and pushed the plate away. I didn’t say anything because honestly I’m tired of complaining at restaurants. More often than not these days, my experience at restaurants had been less than enjoyable. For what restaurants charge these days for food, they should make extra sure that that food is not only prepared correctly, but hot enough to send to the table. If your cook can’t see unmelted cheese and think to maybe heat that plate up a little more instead of sending it out to a customer, get yourself a new cook. Disappointed to say the least. The Margherita was OK. I won’t go back. Serve your food hot!

There are not many Mexican places that are great but this one certainly is. The food is good, the service is good, and the atmosphere was good. Check out the guacamole! This is how I judge Mexican restaurants and theirs is good.

The Coco Loco beverage is phenomenal! The food was very good and the service was excellent! Highly recommend Johnathon as a server. He was on point and very responsive to all our requests. The food came quick and was hot and fresh! 5/5 stars overall! We will for sure be visiting again:)

This is a really good Mexican restaurant! It was really nicely set up. The inside was beautifully set up. Good chips and salsa I enjoy hot salsa and theirs was the best I have had yet. I ordered a steak fajitas and it was absolutely delicious. Great food. Friendly staff. And a very nicely decorated! Definitely will be back and would recommend to others!

I will NEVER eat here again! My best friend and I got food poisoning from eating here! Yes the food was good. BUT two days later, I was being taken to the hospital by EMS with severe abdominal pain and vomiting. My friend was admitted as well.
