We frequent Victoria Texas, to visit family; and Agave’s was a recommendation for dinner. I’m glad we stopped by, it was slow for dinner not too many people, hopefully this review brings in more customers because the food is DAMN GOOD!!
I appreciate some good chips and salsa, I loved the multi colored chips and the salsa had the perfect spice. We were greeted with a complimentary small chicken soup, which was unexpected and really delicious. I had a beer rita and I loved the mini Modelo, I’ll be back for the BIG RED RITA. The food was 10/10 I had the Texas plate: Two beef enchiladas rice and beans and also carne guisada, not pictured was a side of guacamole. The beef enchiladas were delicious and cheesy (which I love) the rice was some of the best I’ve had, even better than the rice we get in Austin Texas. The carne guisada was full of flavor and thick chunks; but so tender. The beef steak fajitas are so thick and juicy, full of flavor.
Our server “Sophie” was very nice and real attentive, I hope to visit soon and have her again as our server.
Side note, the food is served in very generous portions, even the tortillas are huge and flavorful. I saw someone order the nachos and they are on my bucket list for next trip. -Cheers

Had lunch, then went back for breakfast the following day. Food was delicious, great margaritas. Definitely going to visit again next time in Victoria.

Waited an hour to be seated almost seemed like we were forgotten. Once seated we waited an hour for the food to arrive and had to ask multiple times for straws, tortillas for the plates and more chips for the long wait. A toothpick came out inside one of the enchiladas and had to spit it out. Also had a mix up and received the wrong plate for one order. Still has a few kinks to work out with the service but food was pretty good.

Went with a friend and asked for a Coke Zero but they brought me a root beer and then brought me what was still tasting like root beer mixed with Coke Zero but it was brought out like 10 mins after I had made the waitress aware. It was around 7pm and it was not super busy so the fact our waitress kept us waiting and then rarely checked on us if we needed anything or even refills. I had to waive down another waitress to help us. The food was not something special either. I’ve had better food elsewhere. They need to better train staff on attentiveness and if there is any short staff which there was a plethora of employees near the bar, then it’s a management issue and they need to address it. I definitely won’t be back! Save your money and eat elsewhere. It’s over hyped and not worth it.

It was my mom’s birthday and the staff was super sweet. Free dessert and sang. Nice atmosphere and good food. I had the carne asada And it was very good. Tender meat, not fatty. Not a huge fan of the tortillas. The corn tortillas were really floppy. But other than that highly recommend.

Wanted to try some place new for breakfast and loved it. Our server was so sweet and checked on us multiple times. I had got a breakfast taco and it was so delicious. We are going to be coming back for breakfast for sure

Every time I come to this restaurant, they give me the wrong order. Something is missing or something is wrong. When you take your receipt to get it fixed, they don’t give you your receipt back and they throw a fit that they messed up. The food is delicious, but the customer service is horrible.

Service definitely needs work. This was our first time going, since it’s new and wanted to try it out.The food was mid at best rice had 0 flavor and was stale. Our waitress took our order, brought it out, then fixed an issue we had & that was the last we saw her until she noticed we were done with our food. Never recieved a refill even tho we had our drinks sitting on the table for about 10 min. While being empty. When we asked for a to go drinks since we never recieved a refill they then charged us for 2 extra drinks…. we never get charged for to go drinks anywhere we go in town. Definitely skip out on this one. So many other places that have better service and food.
