I went to this place prime Friday evening and it did not disappoint me. I started with the crispy Brussels sprouts ( very good) and the Mac n cheese donuts ( amazing, but very filling so I would recommend ordering with another person). For my main, I ordered the mix and match epic tacos ( the chipotle chika, the gangsta and the happy pappy). Very very good, my favorite was the happy pappy. Don’t forget to order a house margarita’s. I definitely recommend this place, but make sure to come give your name before the time you want to go since you can’t reserve and it it’s popular.

Visited here from Tampa for a work convention, and was literally across the road from my hotel. I didn’t catch names, but on TWO visits, both servers were excellent! Drinks never got below a quarter filled before I was offered refills, and they were very efficient, even with one visit having TWELVE of us for one waiter. The food was absolutely amazing! Recommended great options by the server, and they may say “flight size” for the pick 3, but trust, these tacos are LOADED with toppings, the flight size mix and match will fill up most people. You HAVE to get the Mac and Cheese Donuts! First time I had it with the powdered sugar, no dipping sauce, second day was dipping sauce and no, or very little powdered sugar. I preferred it with the powdered sugar, but by far a great sweet and savory mix that is divine! Work trip, so no drinks, but for the fountain drinks, they have Diet Mountain Dew on tap? Ayyyy! If I’m ever in Columbus, Ohio again, THIS is top of the “to do” list, and can’t recommend this spot enough! Went on back to back days!

Went here on a weeknight, we were staying at the nearby hotel. Really good service, food came out quick! The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. The menu has a ton of variety so even fussy eaters will find something here. The drinks were great too, and you get plenty. Much better than the competition.

Garrett was very cool. Thanks!

Was in town for a conference. This place is located across the street. Their mix and match taco flight is amazing! Crunchy tacos with a soft taco wrapped around it. Got mine with a guac cushion between the taco layers! Great!

Experience Overview

We didn’t plan to come here. It was a last-minute decision after circling a few spots with nothing landing. But it ended up being a solid choice — not perfect, but definitely memorable.

Atmosphere

This place doesn’t ease you in. It’s all bold color, graffiti walls, chandeliers, and bubblegum-blowing animal portraits. It leans loud and dramatic — intentionally over-the-top, and not trying to hide it. It’s a place you come to notice, not blend in.

Service

Ava was our server — confident, calm, and easy to work with. She didn’t try to upsell us or hover, but she knew her menu and made navigating choices easier.

Pro tip: If you’re unsure on drinks, ask questions. She offered a few sips to help narrow it down, and it made a difference.

What We Ordered

Hot & Juicy Margarita
Watermelon purée, lime, Tajín rim, jalapeño
– Balanced heat and sweetness, refreshing
– Can run sweet, so ask for less syrup if needed

Birria Tacos
– Looked great but underdelivered on flavor
– The consommé was oily and lacked depth
– Not terrible, but didn’t stand out (especially if you’ve had great birria elsewhere)

Street Corn (Off the Cob)
– Served on the husk with cotija and chili
– Good presentation, missing a bit of brightness
– A squeeze of lime or pinch of salt would’ve helped

Carne Asada Egg Rolls
– Crisp, filled well, and good to share
– The chipotle-BBQ sauce was a win
– The ranch-style sauce felt random, but overall it worked as a shared bite

Weekly Specials Worth Knowing

• Margarita Monday: Half-off house margs, $8 mocktails
• Taco Tuesday: Half-off margs, $2.50 domestic cans
• Whiskey Wednesday: $8 bourbon cocktails, $4 carne asada egg rolls
• Happy Hour (M/W/Th/F, 3–6PM): Discounted drinks + tacos

Would I Go Back?

Yes. This wasn’t a perfect meal, but the overall experience was enjoyable — especially for something unplanned. The food has highs and lows, but the drinks, service, and atmosphere pulled it together.

If you’re looking for quiet, this probably isn’t the place.
If you’re in the mood for something loud, colorful, and flexible with drink options? It does the job.

Helpful to know before you go:
– Ask for light syrup in drinks if you’re sensitive to sweetness
– The birria wasn’t their strongest dish
– It’s a good spot for groups, but can be a lot if you’re looking for a laid-back vibe
– The service was a standout

Hope this helps!

The flavors were there the burrito didn’t look big but once I ate everything, I realized I was definitely full. I’ll definitely have to order more from this place. It was very delicious. I don’t eat bacon so I remove bacon from the burrito, but I can imagine it would’ve only added way more flavor 10 out of 10.

Stopped in for lunch and dinner with a large convention group and our server went above and beyond! The kitchen was slammed, but the food made it 100% worth the wait.

I had the Epic Tacos—Bees Knees and Alderman—both big, flavorful, and delicious. The chips are massive (must be homemade!) and perfect with their Queso and Guac. Our group also loved the Pimento Cheese Dip.

If you’re in Columbus, don’t miss this spot. Be patient—the food is worth it, and I’d come back again in a heartbeat.

Their tacos are worth the trip. It was amazing to try their Alderman, the islander banger and, my favorite for the resemblance, the happy meal. Very creative menu and mouthwatering tacos.
