Took 45 minutes to get our food with two bar patrons and one table with two persons, one of whom I heard tell the wait person she never got her iced tea. We initially called to get room service but the phone was never answered. Headed down to the restaurant to find there was no seating hostess and so we wandered aimlessly looking for someone to ask if the restaurant was still open with well over an hour before posted closing time. After ordering from the limited menu, partner said his sea bass might have been good if it wasn’t served cool. His risotto was crunchy but the grilled broccolini was excellent. I attempted the pork pappardelle with a verde sauce. The sauce was awful and my pasta floated in it. It had the consistency of a pesto with some pasta water added. I had to dig for the few mushrooms and pieces of pork. Wish I could post a photo. Let’s just say the appearance of the dish was off putting. Plan return stays at the Eldorado but will never try the Agave again. Too much good food in Santa Fe for a bad meal.

Avoid!!! Food looks nice.. BUT it Is tasteless and Extremely overpriced! Service is good. Place is nice. Just FYI.. There are Way Better restaurants in Santa Fe. Not Recommended at all!!

Best happy hour downtown. We came here for happy hour and sat in the lounge area. It is very luxurious without feeling pretentious. The margaritas were good and the nachos on the happy hour were incredible. Huge serving at a low cost and it was delicious. We also tried the potatoes on the happy hour menu and they were mouth watering! This is a cool spacious place to stop when spending the day downtown.

We ordered aguachile and they brougth some boiled shrimp with a liquid similar to lime juice. Not to mention pastor empanadas and queso were in the menu but not available. The only positive, they only charged drinks . The place is nice but food and service are not at the level

Amazing food, amazing drinks. I’m on an eternal quest for perfect duck, and I may have found it here. The dish had so many layers of flavor that every bite was a different experience. I walked away with two regrets from this experience: I spent 3 nights at the Eldorado Hotel and only ate here on the last night, and (2) I didn’t save room for any of the amazing-sounding deserts on the menu. The wait staff was professional, friendly, and courteous. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

This place is super cute! Date night, friends night, fun, relax just awesome ambiance. Great drinks and service. Food portions are small more so tapas. The lamb empanadas are a hit! The steak is about 3oz and the corn was awesome, great pickled flavor!

This venerable night spot has a great reputation, but our group of 7 caught the staff on an off-night with lackluster food and very slow bill payments. But everyone at Agave was kind and charming, so we’re hopeful that a future visit will prove that the top ratings will be warranted once again.

Limited food choices that are overpriced. An additional charge of $4 to mix tacos is unnecessary. The carnitas(pulled pork) lacked flavor. The pork was bland. The children’s menu seems to offer food selections that would be more appreciated by adults.
Drink menu has a number of cocktails to enjoy. The cucumber Collins was delicious. Smokey and fire margarita was refreshing. The fire portion of the name is misleading. The mezcal offers the smoke.
Service leaves one wanting. Was greeted and told to sit anywhere by waiter. That same waiter took over 5 mintues to take drink order. Would recommend sitting at the bar and visiting for drinks. Don’t waste time getting dinner
