gave Mexican Delights has a simple menu for $13 you can choose from a burrito, bowl, 3 street tacos (Corn or Flour tortillas), Nachos or a Taco salad. With your choice of 7 meats carne asada, carnitas, chicken, barbacoa, fried fish, veggie and sautéed shrimp extra $1. Been craving a carne asada burrito and the lady that took my order was kind enough to fulfill my request of adding cilantro and onions directly in my burrito. The only down side was, the filling was extremely wet which if I didn’t eat it right away it would be soggy and disappointing. I took the chance, sat down and ate some of it right away. I am glad I did because along with the salsas and a squirt of lemon the burrito was delicious. Because the carne asada probably isn’t grilled and put in a sauce to keep it from drying up I would suggest getting a burrito bowl or nachos. Plan to eat it in the food court so its hot. Sorry no fridges or microwaves in the hotel rooms.

I wasn’t even going to waste my time but I think they need to improve in a lot of ways. I waited 30 minutes for a simple shrimp burrito that ended up being a fish burrito I seriously didn’t even care because I wasn’t going to wait another half an hour for them to fix my order, cashier was not helpful she kept getting complaints from other customers and she didn’t even try to help , the cook had to come out and talk to the customers , I wasn’t happy at all and 2 people for such busy environment it is not suitable. Just one more thing I will not eat here again .

We ordered ahead of 5 different people and we still had to wait 30 minutes. The staff was pretty non communicative and barely gave us updates.

Some nourishment in between the penny slot play

After hours of physically demanding button-pushing on Pechanga’s battery of slot machines, we needed rest & something in our tummies to gather a second wind. Looking not to spend very much, even though I did win money to cover lunch, we spied the offerings at Pechanga’s food court.

Chinese food a la Hong Kong Express?- naw
Pizza & pasta? – maybe
All-American food? – naw
Fried chicken? – possibly
Café? – no
Mexican food? – sure, why not?

Agave Mexican Delights offers made to order Mexican food, including nachos, burritos, fajitas and other favorites. After a quick glance, I went with a carne asada fajita plate, with 2 corn tortillas & choice of black beans.

A little under $9, the carne asada fajita plate proved to be a decent meal. The portions were good, and while not extraordinary, I found my order to be the best bet (pun intended) compared to the other food court options. I filled up for not a lot, raring for more hot loose slot action.

Seating is inside the, you guessed it, food court, with tables & a few booths. Service was good, as I was given more plastic cups, per request, for the salsa bar.

Undecided between fried chicken or Mexican food, I was happy with choosing Agave Mexican Delights. I believed they have the most bang for the buck amongst the food court options, and the food is a tad bit healthier, IMHO. Being a captive audience, we’re stuck with whatever’s available in the casino, but for looking to not spend too much, Agave Mexican Delights did the trick for me.

BTW, I played penny slots with 20 lines, which yours truly bringing home the motherlode of a hefty $40 ;p Cha-Ching!

Pro-Tip – Agave nectar is higher in fructose than high fructose corn syrup, causing inflammation & fat storage. Real maple syrup & raw honey are better sugar sources.

This was the most average burrito I have ever had in my entire life. Very greasy chicken tinga, a bit of rice, and a smallllll smear of refried beans. It was edible. I would not recommend this place.

On the bright side, the cashier working there was very friendly and the meal was quick.

If I could give this place a zero I would, the man taking the orders doesn’t understands your orders, gets them all wrong then blame you. We ordered 2 enchiladas combo plates with rice/beans, we got are order but 3 extra bowls of rice and 3 extra bowls of beans, we didn’t order all those extras. When we told them about the error they offered us 2 cookies. Then our party ordered carne asada nachos, as she is eating 2 shrimp pop out, we don’t eat shrimp, we tell them about it and they make like they don’t understand or comprehend where the shrimp came from, will never eat at this place ever again. Overpriced bland mexican food, the rice taste like rice a roni and the beans where watery for refried. Eat at your own risk. This place is in Pechanga Casino..They need to do better..

My burrito was not good. Do NOT get a chicken burrito with mexican rice and refried beans. Maybe try a different combination because those flavors were gross. The chicken has a weird flavor. Its really soft and stewed like. My fault for assuming it would be standard grilled chicken. Welp…never again..

Who. Who puts nacho cheese on carne asada fried. And if you do, it should say it. Not just say “cheese”. Nacho cheese isn’t actual cheese. It’s oil and garbage. What a waste of 16 bucks
