This place was so good, it was for my son’s birthday. The inside is decorated so lively and was really cool. All of our food was very good and cooked really well. Our server was very good and super nice. They sang to my son for his birthday and brought him out a super nice dessert. Looked like a sundae with churro chips on top. Would definitely recommend.

Great Grub. Had the lunch special, Steak fajita quesadilla for 10 bucks. It did not disappoint. Very flavorful and tender. The chips and salsa were also excellent. 10/10 will go back!!

The chili relleno that my husband got was mush. It was not crispy, which is what we asked for
the chips were warm and good and we liked the red salsa. We also ordered the guacamole appetizer for four bucks and for the price It was good with those chunks of avocado and it was all right!

Two dined in. I tried the raspberry Texas margarita. It was light and refreshing, but had zero punch.
The food was well seasoned. I ordered the sauce (ranchero and queso) on the side, even though I was told they were not spicy. I got the grilled shrimp and scallops over rice with salad. It has been a long time since I have enjoyed shrimp and scallops so much. They were well seasoned and cooked tender, not over done.

I was really excited to try this place given the reviews, but this was one of the worst Mexican restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I’ll preface by saying they were very busy because of the football game but this could have been handled better. First, our server was also visibly rude when my older father asked him for something. The chips, salsa and queso were lackluster – lacking any flavor. Had the service been better, we would have overlooked this. We never even got our meal after sitting there for an hour, nor did our server come to tell us what was going on. This place charges for your 2nd batch of chips and salsa, yet he couldn’t even come bring us more, which we would have happily paid for. We paid eye contact with our server, who blatantly ignored us. Finally, we had to get up to check on our food and were told it would be another 15-20 mins (after an hour of being seated) – no apology, nothing. We decided to leave and the manager was apologetic, but they still charged us for chips and salsa which should have been complimentary given the wait.

Food is good, no doubt. DO NOT buy a pitcher of margaritas. Twice in a row, we got a pitcher of margaritas and it tasted like sour mix and weak. As in zero alcohol. We have a personal breathalyzer at home, and as soon as we got home got it out to check. Blew a 0.00 both times and it normally picks up alcohol after a single beer.
Called to tell someone at the restaurant, and were hung up on. Called back in case it was an accident and the worker hung up on us again.
Charging for alcoholic beverages/pitchers and serving just mix is a completely deceptive practice, and in Alabama is illegal (Alabama code 28-3A-25(a) and 8-19-5) And clearly it wasn’t a fluke. Shame, cause I actually liked the restaurant until now.

Absolutely my favorite Hispanic food restaurant in town hands down. Love the staff, the food is all good no matter what i get! Gets pretty crazy on weekends but still they’re good with service and time. 10/10
