Vegetarian review: Hands-down the best Tex-Mex food in St. Thomas USVI. You cannot go wrong apparently with any of the 13 restaurants on the island by their owner couple of Agave.

The food is priced right – way better than what the rest of the island costs for what you get. The flavor is fantastic! The black beans has so much flavor – they nailed it right! They also have the option to provide you with fresh jalapenos on the side and in every dish! Their house-made hot sauce is so tasty and yet the heat is SOLID so be warned.

The enchiladas were the bomb. The vegetable fajitas – incredible – amongst the best that I have ever had! The vegetable crunch-wrap is so good and the corn-on-the-cob is mind-blowingly good!

The veggie tacos were also superb. Just stop reading and head over there. I am guarantee that you will repeat this restaurant.

The wait was about 30+ minutes on a Monday afternoon. It was raining on and off. Outside dining but ground had many puddles and everything was wet. We chose not to sit outside although people chose to. Personally don’t like to feel wet while I’m dining.
And therefore the wait was longer. The inside was smaller than expected and I’m sure that caused the wait.
Server was nice but didn’t come around to ask if we wanted anything else. Food was ok. Not great. Veggie burger could improve on the texture. It was a bit mushy inside. Overall flavor was a bit bland for a Mexican restaurant.
Guacamole was bland. Beans were vegetarian which I appreciated.
Margaritas were ok.
I don’t think I’d go again. I’d probably venture out to another Mexican restaurant. They seem to cater to tourists. I saw no locals. It’s near the tourist shopping and ship dock.
If you’re shopping in the area then by all means I suggest trying it.

We visited 4x in 5 days! Other than one hostess, everyone was super nice and VERY accommodating. ‍ ‍ The food was flavorful and the drinks were nice, especially the CocoRita! The bar area had large tvs so it makes a great place to watch sports. It sit in the middle of a tourist area but still maintains quality food and service. Parking is available. ️ A special shoutout to Cha’de and John! They were awesome! ⭐️

Stopped in on a cruise port stop. Easy to walk to. A quick sit down with drinks and menus. You do have to pay for chips and salsa, which taste wise was ok. The salsa and guac needed more flavor and more salt for sure. The queso blanco was delicious on the trio. We shared the carne asada enchiladas for lunch. Portion size was good. The meat chunks were definitely hard to chew and took a minute. Flavor was lacking on meat, rice, and beans. Overall, everything was very bland.
Our waitress was there for seating, drinks at the beginning then she disappeared. Someone else brought the food and appetizer out. No drink refills were offered by anyone. We had to go ask someone to find and send her over for the check when we had been done for several minutes. Then she finally appeared again. Another waitress was there and was very attentive to her tables.

Comfortable spot in the Havensight Mall area of Charlotte Amalie. I’m not necessarily a fan of Mexican (I don’t do spice) but we went back night after night because the menu was just so good!

My husband and I wanted a snack and a break while walking through the souvenir shops. We shared nachos with carne asada, he had a coke, and I drank tap water. The nachos were excellent. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. But the menu was hard to read. It appeared that the ink was coming off from lots of use. I believed the nachos were $14. When the bill arrived, I realized the nachos with beef was an extra $14. The plate of chips, cheese, jalapeno, and beans was $15. The tip was added in the bill. Our shared lunch was $39 and some change. I should have paid closer attention when ordering because I never would have ordered $30 nachos. If price is an issue, you’ve now been warned.

My new favorite place in St. Thomas! The food was delicious, I had the Crunchwrap Extreme Carnitas, let me just say WOW! The quality of the ingredients was top. The service was 20/10, our server made sure we were good at all times. The place is beautiful and the prices are not bad. Highly recommend it!

Totally loved the food and the atmosphere. If you want to try some amazing Mexican food at the port, that’s your place.
The Sangria was good, but could be slightly better and bigger – comparing to what I usually see around, even in Spain. But I like it.
Highly recommend.

Having been to Mexico, eatwn Sonoran Style in Arizona, Tex-Mex in Texas, and California Style Mexican, this person did not do one scintilla of research into there food. Let’s start with the Good, I was greeted with a smile, seated promptly. I ordered a Paloma with Patron Blanco the drink was great. Atmosphere clean and industrial. Music Christmas but not in Spanish.
Then the bad came, no chips and salsa big Booo chips don’t cost much, keeps the guest happy etc… ok I order guacamole big disappointment for 16 dollars, was the bagged avocado pulp with pepper, garlic powder and salt, no tomato, onion, cilantro or lime. Very blah and unauthentic. Salsa, canned tomato pulp with a sprig of cilantro no heat no spice no nothing and 9 dollars to open a can. The chips were fresh probably one of the only Mexican product besides the flour tortillas that were authentic. Next The Carne Asada Fajitas should be the star dish not here for one the word Asada is grilled not even close here boiled, grainy Chuck Meat, still with the nerve running thru 26 dollars, the cheese on the garnish plate was waxy from sitting in the window, the rice cilantro no lime, the beans watery, salty and old. The pico de gallo old with yellow tomatoes. Sour cream was fresh and I loved the handmade flour tortillas nice touch but the rest of it was as authentic as Polish Sausage made with seal meat. 70 dlls with tip not worth it, get a Consultant do some research make your food better and authentic not a watered down, fake as you go place.

Melissa was an AMAZING server!! Super attentive and had great recommendations. The happy hour is great prices and the margaritas are amazing! The pitcher is well worth the money. The shrimp tacos were delicious- personally I would have loved 3 but they were Amazing. And the carne asada bowl was great too! Salsas are house made and super flavorful. If we ever come back to the island we will definitely be stopping here again! They have 2 big TVs if you want to watch games and good amount of bar seating. All tables are high tops – not really friendly for wheelchair users.
