Excellent experience with knowledgeable staff, fun atmosphere, delicious drinks, and nice authentic food beyond your standard tacos and chimichangas. A little more pink than I like but the tequila selection and Mexican beers more than makes up for it.

We had lunch here on a random Monday when the place was entirely empty and allowed us to enjoy the decor and layout of the restaurant to the fullest extent. It is absolutely a wonderful location to dine in. The place has a nice high class feel with not too expensive prices. And they give the first round of chips and salsa/beans complimentary. We had the pollo gourmet burrito and enchiladas rancheras and both were quite tasty, especially the flavor in the burrito.

Tried this spot on a whim despite some less than favorable reviews. We found the ambiance to be colorful and inviting with original art adorning the walls. Very cool! Our server was outstanding. Ricardo knew his menu, gave excellent advice on flavor and preparation differences as well as addressing every need without being obtrusive. We will be back.

Walked in and nobody greeted us for over 5 minutes. Then was met with an awfully rude waiter. We weren’t quite ready for our drink order and he rolled his eyes and said “I’ll be back” and walked off. Never came back. He went to another waiter and he took over. Never acknowledged us again. New waiter was great. Probably won’t be back because of this.

Unfortunately, nobody in our party cared for this place. It was our first time, and we were looking for a nice Mexican restaurant. The margaritas were not great and their menu is pretty unique and different, but not in a good way for our tastes. The octopus is an entire two tentacles with suction cups! Wild. Tasted fine, but only to share with others. People, if someone in the party orders rice and beans as their meal because they cannot eat anything else, don’t just bring a dinky ramekin of each for their meal! Our server was in training and not great, but it’s definitely the unique menu and high prices that will keep us from coming back.

Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. Unique dishes, and excellent sea food. Highly recommend the enchiladas and tacos here. Always plenty of seating and no wait. Drinks are also incredible here too. I’d highly recommend giving this place a try.

Emily, gave us incredible service and knowledge of the food at Agave del Scottsdale. We had the enchiladas with mole’ rice and beans. Wow, the presentation and the Mole sauce was the star of the show. We felt like we were Mexico City! Each bite was so tasty and the portions just right. The Cadillac Margaritas were made from scratch, not a mix and refreshing to perfection. I highly recommend Agave del Scottsdale and will be returning often. By the way the atmosphere is perfect and the tequila selection is out of this world, but definitely go for the food and the atmosphere, and ask for Emily! You’ll go back often, trust me! Salute!
