We went later in the evening and had the best, fastest, most delicious service! Had the most authentic tasting mexican food I’ve tasted in the valley and the prices were very reasonable! High praise strongly recommend!

Big portions, delicious food, and friendly staff. The combination of cheese and lettuce in the carnitas tacos was unique, it added a great balance of texture and flavor.

This place is like a little gem hidden in Roanoke. I was very impressed with how the food tasted for the buffet option they have. $12 all you can eat. I have 4/5 stars due to the limited options that were available. Although the options were very tasty. I’m Mexican so I’m a hard judge on Mexican food and from the salsa, to the rice, to the enchiladas all were delicious. The service was amazing, they let us preview the buffet and menu before making a decision for a table. Highly recommend ☺️

This is our first time coming to this restaurant. It has a very nice exterior. The atmosphere is calming, and the interior is well decorated. The restaurant is clean and well kept.
The food was just alright. The seasoning wasn’t very strong. I ordered quesadillas and chicken beef fajitas. The portion size for the fajita was huge, with more than enough for two people.
The service was good.
Overall, it’s a decent restaurant.

What an amazing restaurant and great food I enjoyed there. The lunch buffet is delicious and had a variety of good options and food, with veggies and toppings.
The staff was friendly and had a nice atmosphere. This was my 2nd time there, and hope to go back soon again if Lord God permits.
Recommend everyone to try them out, especially for lunch time. Cozy and enjoyable.

I choose this restaurant while on a long road trip because it was my birthday and it looked great. It didn’t disappoint! Everything about it was excellent – the cute building, the cleanliness, the fast and friendly service, the food, and last but not least, the prices. In fact the prices were so reasonable we were surprised! I sure wish we had this place close to home. I highly recommend it!

We were in Roanoke for the weekend and stopped here for dinner on Friday night after a long drive. It is set between a few hotels and seems to get good business from hotel guests and locals. The food was good. Nothing extraordinary, but good. To be honest, at first, when served with our taco salad, we thought we may have to order more! They were small. However, once broken up and all cut up, they were very filling. The shell itself was the star. It had been cooked in fresh oil and was crispy but also pillowy. The chips were good but not served warm. The salsa was great, and it had a kick! The margaritas we had on Friday sucked. They were green and all sweet and sour mix. That horrible pre made bought mixture. They were tart. I ordered “the biggest, tastiest margarira you have” as soon as we were seated. I hadn’t looked at the drink menu at all, but trusted our server. Big mistake. The margarita was a disappointment. We returned the next evening for a night cap after arriving back at our hotel. We walked over and had a few margaritas after looking through the menu. The Patron margarita with homemade sweet and sour signature mix was WAY BETTER! They were very good. We had a large glass full of ice and a shaker full of margarita. With the ice included, it poured two margaritas. Without ice, the shaker would have filled the extra large margarita flass once.. We sat at the bar, and our bartender changed the channel to what we wanted to watch and gave us fresh, warm chips and salsa on the house. They do not serve white sauce at this restaurant, and it wasn’t missed!

I had a fantastic experience at Agava Azul! The restaurant is spotless and beautifully decorated, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the fajitas burrito, and the flavor was absolutely outstanding—fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The presentation matched the taste, and the portion size was just right. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Agava Azul to anyone looking for delicious food in a clean and inviting setting!
