The food was fantastic! We were visiting from Chicago on vacation and my mother in law brought us for my sons birthday. It was delicious true authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere is awesome! The service was fantastic!! Will definitely be back next summer.

Delightful authentic Mexican cuisine. Tonight we had a variety of enchiladas. Love the hand painted booths and wood mural. Food was plentiful. Most places up north here are short staffed. Despite that, service was excellent as well. Hope to visit again very soon.

Drove around the Three Lakes and Eagle River area looking for somewhere to eat on an October Saturday evening. It’s very much off season up there that time of year. Many places were closed and the ones that were open were packed and had 90+ minute wait times or were simply ignoring anyone walking in. After six failed attempts at finding somewhere to eat we ended up here. They had several tables already seated and another group that walked in at the same time as us. We were seated almost immediately with friendly and fairly fast service. Chips and salsa were decent, prickly pear margarita had good flavor and was large but not particularly strong, food was excellent. Shrimp fajitas were very generous with the amount of shrimp and the enchiladas bandera was flavorful. I would absolutely eat there again.

Agave Azul has authentic Mexican food. The food was good and so were the drinks. I had the chili Colorado, which was delicious, but the portion was a bit small. If it wasn’t lunch, I probably would have been a bit unhappy. The salsa and chips were good as well as the service.

Stopped in while we were out running around Eagle River because the parking lot was always full. Their food was good and our waitress was fantastic even though she had worked all day. Great attitude. If you can call and get reservations, it is recommended, or you might have to wait a while to get a seat.
