Takeaway: this place is becoming a go to; the sushi is delcious and they are very creative with their rolls and other offerings on the menu.
The service was great when we walked in on a Saturday night. They weren’t terribly busy which was shocking given the quality of the meal. Really enjoyed the range of the menu and the miso pork belly buns were perfection. They interior is a bit kitschy and well-loved, but the food more than makes up for it.

Some of the tastiest sushi in the city, hands down! Plus delicious martinis. It’s got a night club vibe, but the sushi quality is 10/10. My favorite martini is the Flirtini, and the Chicago Bulls roll is amazing just have.

Wow- the Chicago Bulls and the Men In Black house rolls are worth every penny. Highly recommend their take on fresh oysters as well as their teriyaki topping adds a lot to the oyster flavor. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive. Will definitely go back if we are in this area again!

We had a fantastic meal! I can’t wait to come back and try more things from the menu. The house rolls are expensive but very interesting and delicious. The service was slow and our dishes came out at wildly different times, hence 4 stars. But the food quality was great and I would definitely return.

After ordering carry out here for months, we decided to finally dine-in one evening and did not regret it. Will be coming back for the fantastic sushi, appetizers, and miso soup.
Our server Bo was amazing! She took our every need into consideration, must have refilled my water cup at least 10 times! She gave us recommendations for our next visit and was an overall nice and bubbly personality.

On a wet cold autumn evening there is nothing like a bowl of piping ramen to warm the belly. Start off the evening with a soft shell crab bao, then a warm ramen , all while sipping a fine bright sake. Bring a date and have the oysters to finish the night with a special bang This place has it all and the service is nothing short of stellar.

Fantastic Sushi spot in Uptown in Chicago! The staff and service was excellent and the only reason why it doesn’t get 5 stars, is only due to the all of the sad music playing during dinner time. Other than that, everything was spot on! Split the Pork Buns with the wife for the appetizer round, had the Windy Chicago roll, which had seared spicy salmon, fried spicy tuna, avocado and cucumber! To round out the evening, we split the Tempura Vanilla fried ice cream which was awesome! Would definitely go again!

Had a wonderful time at Agami! The restaurant is deceivingly large, and colorfully decorated! Definitely a fun atmosphere, especially for younger generations. The food is very good, and we absolutely plan on coming back in the future!

Don’t eat here unless you want a string in your food. This was bought for me as a gift and I found a WHOLE STRING in my Ramen. I was offered a refund but for the person who bought it for me but again I didn’t buy it someone else bought it for me. String was all up in the meat so there’s no way it was dropped in there . I was affected by this no the person who bought it for me and I was offered no compensation.
