I really wanted to like this place. In the moment, it seems promising. Went last night at 7pm, not many people there at all, bad sign #1. Then the wait staff took a bit long to get to us, bad sign #2. Got our order in and food started coming left and right. It all looked amazing. The Spicy Tuna on Crispy rice was delish and spicy as hell. But the rice tasted kind of stale, and more chewy than crunchy.

Takeaway: this place is becoming a go to; the sushi is delcious and they are very creative with their rolls and other offerings on the menu.

Don’t eat here unless you want a string in your food. This was bought for me as a gift and I found a WHOLE STRING in my Ramen. I was offered a refund but again I didn’t buy it someone else bought it for me. String was all up in the meat so there’s no way it was dropped in there .

Wow- the Chicago Bulls and the Men In Black house rolls are worth every penny. Highly recommend their take on fresh oysters as well as their teriyaki topping adds a lot to the oyster flavor. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive. Will definitely go back if we are in this area again!

Had a pleasant experience many years ago. Not up in the uptown very often. Went back before a show, and nearly missed it. Sat down and took a 1/2hr. For some to take our order, that was after we had to track someone down. Went with the Chicago bulls, photo below. Thought I might get food poisoning so that was the reason for the pic. The wasabi was more of a whipped variety that I had never seen before. Won’t be going back.

It was a really pleasant experience! It was a little pricey however you definitely could taste that it was really good fish. The menu was slightly confusing to look at, but don’t be afraid to ask any questions! The ambiance was amazing! Loved the setup they got going on.

We had a fantastic meal! I can’t wait to come back and try more things from the menu. The house rolls are expensive but very interesting and delicious. The service was slow and our dishes came out at wildly different times, hence 4 stars. But the food quality was great and I would definitely return.

My favorite sushi place. Love their Cali crunch and Philly rolls. I mostly order carry out from them, but the couple times I’ve dined in it’s been very chill yet attentive service. A really nice layout too. Highly recommend checking them out.

the food here is very good – good enough to keep me coming back as a neighborhood spot. but the service is excruciatingly slow. if you have several – not hyperbole – several hours to kill, then the wait is worth it. but if you’re hoping to get any kind of consistent attention i recommend you try a different restaurant
