i don’t typically post reviews about places, but i had the BEST experience at afrobites in conway! i had told her that i had never eaten there before or had any kind of african food before! the girl helping me was so helpful and gave me all of the great recs! i ordered the suya chicken, plantains, sweet potatoes, and (i believe) the jollof rice! i also ordered the tropical tea! i told her to surprise me with everything and she didn’t disappoint! it tasted absolutely amazing and was super quick! 10/10 experience i will ABSOLUTELY be coming again! if you have been contemplating trying this, please do you wont be disappointed!

This is some of the best food you will find! Such kind people and wonderful service on top of amazing food! The Hibiscus Lemonade is sweet and flavorful while the Ginger lemonade has a nice kick! We enjoyed the Jerk, Piri Piri, and Suya Chicken all with Jollof rice!!! This will be one of our regular weekend spots!

The jerk chicken is delicious! Lamb shank is fabulous! The coconut rice is fantastic! The juices and teas are the best beverage in town! Friendly and reasonably priced, this is one of my top three places in town to eat.

I just tried Afro Bites for the first time & idk what took me so long! So much delicious flavor packed in every bite! I got jerk chicken jollof rice spicy plantains & sweet potato porridge with a tropical tea. Every item was a 10/10. & the customer service was even better than the food. I can’t wait to come back & try more items.

The food was so fresh and the portions were generous. I got the jackfruit, jollof rice, plaintains, and curried cabbage. If you don’t want to wait for fresh food, you can call ahead. They have plenty of parking spaces. They accept credit card. They are also super friendly. Definitely recommend!

I admit I have not been impressed with most of the food in Conway. Seems like most restaurants and even the food trucks are more of a business than a passion for cooking and you can tell by the lack of flavor, consistency and quality. Being a former caterer and coming from a foodie state, I’m often disappointed when I go out and feel like I waste money. Someone suggested I try this food truck and I was hesitant because I don’t like overly spicy food and my experience with African food has been that it’s way too spicy. I purchased the lamb shank, sweet potato porridge, plantains (I was supposed to get the curry cabbage but that’s okay) and the coconut rice. Highly recommended! The meat was extremely tender and the rice was fluffy and moist. The sweet potato porridge was like mashed sweet potatoes with something green in it I’m not sure what that is but it’s good. The plantains were delicious as well. I would definitely recommend and I will come back and try something else like the chicken curry. I also love the fact that they serve halal meat which in my opinion has a cleaner taste without all the blood in it and they have vegan items since there are plenty of vegans in our community.

Aaaaaahhhhhhh. Hallelujah this place hits the spot. You can’t go wrong. Don’t be afraid to get double plantains cause they’re scrumptious. Stop debating where to go and just go here. ✌️
