Because I live in Houston and you’re never short on food option, I hardly ever leave food review. Man! The taste of the food is even way better than what you’ll get in Nigeria. The portion is beyond reasonable. Definitely going back.

If you’re looking for, authentic Nigerian cuisine and intercontinental dishes, this is your number 1 stop.
I can’t rave enough about the portions, and how delicious and fresh the meals are. The owner is very friendly, super accommodating for your catering needs. I ordered the Chinese food for my birthday party, it was 100/10.
I have also tried the Nigerian jollof rice, the coconut rice and the burst of flavor is unmatched.
All I can say is go check it out!! And thank me later! ✌

Wow wow wow. I got a plate of seafood okra here last week, it was so good i came back this week to get a pan of the okra, bitterleaf soup n friedrice. I must say perfection! The shaki is done is such a way that is crisp that i had not seen in a while. There was even roundabout(offals) inside!!! Im like what sorcery is this??? I have tasted all food as of this morning, and im thinking of going back to get their red stew or something. The lady at the front, Kemi, is so soft spoken and cordial. I was even given poundo for free to go have for dinner. I shall be a regular here, I love when food reminds me of Nigerian’s cuisine authenticity. +1000points

This is probably the most mediocre red stew I’ve tasted. Wanted to order something because I’m sick and can’t cook right now and I had to throw the entire plate away. The white rice that came with it was definitely overcooked. The egusi was good but it was more oil than soup. I don’t understand if it’s multiple cooks because the previous time I order egusi soup, it was amazing.

I ordered 2 plates of Amala & Gbegiri and after a taste when Uber dropped delivered, I had to call the owner of This restaurant to actually thank her for such splendid cooking- I rarely eat out, cos I get disappointed easily when it doesn’t meet my expectations! But babyyyy this – I had to call the restaurant and ordered a pan of her yummiliscious “Obe-ata” for Amala- for thanksgiving dinner ! Everyone loved the taste and thought I actually cooked it cos it tasted like home cooked! Just wow And to top it off- so affordable!

Never been disappointed with any meal. There’s no place in Houston with the amount of variety they have. And if you need catering for parties, wedding or any big event, they do it best. Catered with them on several occasions and never regretted it. Their restaurant service is always very efficient with minimal wait times.

I visited this location after a recommendation from the person who does my hair, as I was excited to try some African food. While the customer service was excellent—the staff member who helped me was friendly and answered all my questions—I was disappointed with the food quality.
The rice I ordered was burnt, tasting as though it came from the bottom of the pot, with visible burn marks. Additionally, the soup I ordered, which I expected to contain chicken and fish, came with three large pieces of unidentifiable meat. The texture was tough and tongue-like, making it unappetizing and impossible to eat. Despite trying to reach out to the restaurant to express my concerns and request a refund, I was told to speak to the owner.
The owner later informed me that refunds were not possible and suggested that if I could return the food, they might issue a refund. Alternatively, they offered compensation in the form of food during a future visit. Unfortunately, I don’t live in the area and only visit occasionally for hair appointments, so this was not a feasible solution.
While I understand the challenges of running a business and appreciate their attempt to resolve the matter, I was ultimately left unsatisfied with both the food and the resolution. I truly want to see Black-owned businesses succeed, but this experience fell short of expectations.

I got an order of delivery from this food place and quite frankly I was extremely disappointed. It is unacceptable to use GMO chicken drums in jollof or fried rice, food was bland had to use my own stew to eat the swallow…. the ewa agonyin was lackluster for lack of a better word the sauce was just bleh…. even the grilled fish wasn’t appealing to the eyes….and the bill wasn’t cheap either…. please do better GMO chicken has no place in Nigerian dishes just in case you do not know

The Suya was so dry and tough to eat. The Kanu was frozen and not fresh.
All this for $40 from uber eats. Not worth it

I ordered the basmati fried rice and chicken and it smelled and tasted spoilt especially the chicken. I then called the restaurant to let them know and they apologized and said the rice wasn’t spoilt but might be the chicken and sent me a new order. When I got the order it was just the chicken instead of the whole meal. I called again to ask why they wouldn’t send a new order when there are spoilt items in the previous and they said no because the rice isn’t spoilt so no need to send a new one. People with rational like this should not run a restaurant. ALSO false advertising! This is the pic of the Basmati fried rice and chicken compared to what I got. Horrible taste!
