Phenomenal food and excellent service. You can really tell how genuinely they love and care about the food and customers they serve – welcoming atmosphere through and through. Very delicious, we will be coming back to try more. (P.s. sorry for the terrible picture, we were hungry!)

Great place for first timers with genuine African cuisine! It’s family owned and operated which we appreciated so much. The owners helped us choose our meal and we loved all of their recommendations. I didn’t catch their names – but the woman was spot on – no nonsense and could read me like a book as far as what she thought I’d like lol. The man who served us was hilarious and taught us how to properly eat our fufu. Such an awesome place with great vibes! We highly recommend.

So yummy!! A nice family owned restaurant with delicious and authentic food. We got plantain fufu with oxtail stew and yam fufu with egusi & lamb. Both were excellent! Definitely give this place a try!

Had a great experience at this restaurant. Service was quick and very friendly. I highly recommend the Ugali with beef – was absolutely delicious! The plantain fufu was also very delicious but beware if you get spicy, it’s VERY spicy! Will definitely be back.

We were greeted with the warmest family service when we ate here. And the food was out of this world amazing. Came home so full and happy. Definitely best African food in the Denver metro. I got the plantain fufu with nut soup and oxtail and pause to the chef!!

Great people and delicious food! Everyone we interacted with was so pleasant and helpful. I wasn’t sure what to order and the lovely woman who took our order asked me questions and brought me the perfect meal for me. We both enjoyed our meals which were so full of flavor!

So incredible. Unique, flavorful, and such a special cultural experience. The chickpea dish and beef samosas were unreal. I’ll be dreaming about them. Family owned, amazing service, and food made with so much love and care. What more could you ask for in a dining experience? I’ll definitely be back and recommend trying and asking for suggestions if you need some guidance but I don’t think you can go wrong!

Came in twice. Probably won’t come back.
Loved the cassava leaf stew, jollof rice with goat, and chicken yassa. The leaf sauce took me right back to West Africa, so did the scotch bonnet hot sauce. Very good food. Somewhat expensive.
It would be five stars if the service and value were better. We tried to order takeout over the phone when they weren’t busy. They wouldn’t take our order and told us to order online or come in, order, and wait. When we explained the jolof rice wasn’t available online, the woman on the phone said, “Then come in and wait.”
West African food has a special place in my heart, and I love to support small business owners by paying a little more. But I just can’t spend $30 for rice and sauce when the service is so bad.
