What a fantastic place so close to where we live! I LOVE ethnic food. I am so sick of the typical American junk – pizza, fries, stuff like that is not even food to me. This was real, authentic afghan food with complex and exciting flavors. We got lamb kebabs and lamb gyro, both over a salad. Delicious home made sauces on the side. The meat was so delicious that we ordered an extra side. Fauzia even brought us a taste of home made soft and fluffy cheese paired with raisins after our meal. I could tell right away the raisins were imported from Afghanistan because of the amazing flavor. Nothing in the USA tastes like that anymore. I highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back!

Really tasty Afghan food with bold, comforting flavors. It was my first time here and they were very patient helping me through the menu. I landed on two different appetizers, manto and samosa and then the kofta kabob and a lamb gyro, with two different rice dishes on the side. The baklava was fantastic as well. The service was great and surprisingly quick, even for a takeout order. The atmosphere is modest, with table seating near market shelving, but the quality of the food and friendly service more than make up for it. Will definitely be back

Got take out earlier this week and it was quick and delicious! We got the kofta kebab and Zarashk polaw with the lamb. Both types of rice were flavorful and fragrant, and the meat was excellent. Hope to come back and try more someday!

A great addition to North Charleston’s growing, diverse community.
I had dinner with a friend and we ordered the bilani (a warm hug), somasas (the red sauce is great!), and manto (plated so nicely!) apps. For dinner we had the lamb (me – would def order again!) and chicken (her – enjoyed!) kebabs, both with a side salad and a generous portion of the Zarashk (saffron) rice, which was perfectly toasted and seasoned (maybe a touch dry, leftovers will be perf with a drizzle of evoo). The market was well stocked with mostly Afghan-centered cuisine ingredients & seasonings, canned goods (like eggplant), nuts nuts nuts, and even clothing and decor. Oh! Plenty of Dubai chocolate bar brands to choose from, too!!
Friendly and attentive staff, and a welcoming atmosphere – I’m looking forward to my next visit!

I’m so excited to become a regular here! We tried them out during their soft opening and the food was incredible! Super fresh, packed with tons of flavors, and the portions were great! Be sure to ask for their homemade hot sauce… it’s not that hot and very similar to a super flavorful chimichurri. The service was also amazing, I’m super excited for their grand opening! We will be back.. a lot!

I am so excited about this restaurant!! Best kebabs and rice I’ve had in Charleston by far 🙂 the owners are so kind and and the food is high quality and authentic. The restaurant is very cute with lots of personal touches and also a nice market. There is a buffet on Fridays (check their FB to make sure)
