I came from Columbia, South Carolina to North Carolina, and I had no idea there was an authentic Afghan restaurant here. As an Afghan myself, I was truly happy and excited when I found Afghan Kabob, and I decided to try it.
The food was excellent, the place was clean and comfortable, and the service was very friendly and respectful. The flavors were truly authentic and reminded me of home. The only thing I wish to see added to the menu is the traditional Afghan-style lamb skewer kabob.
I hope this item will be added in the future because it would make the experience even more complete.
As an Afghan, it made me really proud to see such a high-quality Afghan restaurant here. From now on, whenever I want to eat out, it’s worth driving from South Carolina just to come here.

Such great food and a great atmosphere.
We got the chicken kabob plate (picture 1) and the Kofta kabob plate (plate 2). A perfect amount of food for the price. Each plate also came with naan. We also got naan with hummus.

I tried this place today for the first time with my family for lunch. The location is pretty good, the restaurant is spacious and looks very clean. The food was also quite decent. However, the front-facing staff could be more welcoming and friendly with a smile. As first-time customers, we expected a little guidance on the order.

I cannot get over how incredible the entire experience was. The food is ridiculously incredible. I got the hummus plate and they actually portion it correctly. Some places give you so many chips and naan. But, this place gives you a bunch of hummus and an appropriate amount of naan and chips. The gyro is absolutely to die for! Even the French fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked with a crunchy outside and soft center. Now, Leo, I’m assuming he’s the owner. He is the reason this restaurant will be in regular rotation. He is a massive sweet pea, he’s very kind and friendly. You can really tell that he takes pride in what he does. Please, get the baklava! They have a few flavors. I got the walnut and it is delectable for sure. It surprised me how few people were here when I went in because this place definitely deserves to be packed! I’ll enjoy not waiting until more people find this gem and it gets the recognition it deserves

I had the lamb gyro last night and I cannot praise it highly enough! The lamb was well spiced and cooked to perfection and the veggies were fresh and crisp. The dining area was super clean and the staff was friendly. I will definitely return!

The chicken kabob plate was very tasty and had a good portion. The lamb kabob gyro was ok; a little heavy on the sauce. They will not provide water in a cup – you need to buy a plastic water bottle for $2.50. The person working at the counter was super friendly and attentive.

A hidden gem in Fayetteville.
We ordered the chicken plate and the beef plate. The food was tasty, portions were generous, and the pricing was very reasonable. The chickpeas had a real Afghan flavor you’d expect from an authentic restaurant. The beef plate wasn’t quite to my taste, so next time I’ll stick with just the chicken plate.
The service was excellent—everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the experience genuinely pleasant.
If you’re in the area and want great hospitality with solid Afghan flavors, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Great food, amazing flavor and well cooked. SUPER CLEAN PLACE, affordable prices. Staff April very polite, friendly and caring. I got the Beef kabob and my husband the Lamb Kabob that comes with rice, chickpeas and salad (picture). Plates, cups and utensils are disposable. Very nice ambiance with calm and relaxing music.
