Had a very pleasant trip to Gettysburg with my partner today, on our way we stopped at Affinity Cafe for breakfast. Hands down, it was the best breakfast wrap I’ve had in a long time. My partner was so impressed with our experience we made sure to stop again on our way home. We both enjoyed the BLT very much for lunch! We love that they offer gluten free and vegan items. We took some baked goods home for the family, we’re excited to get to share with everyone!!
The wonderful woman that helped us made us feel very welcome, especially the second trip in! Very nice find on our journey and we will definitely be back!!!

There’s a new cafe in the downtown! Convenient location, right across from the library. What a cute little place too. They renovated and remodeled the old building that was there into this inviting eatery, with many selections of sandwiches , breakfasts, drinks and pastries. Hours are convenient too. Plenty of seating inside and outside too. I chatted with the owner and she was very nice, with an extensive background in food service and management, so she knows what she’s doing! My food didn’t take long at all and was pretty tasty! Likewise, there’s a lot of beverages options. Check out my pics and more importantly, check out Affinity Cafe soon!

Food is delicious! Coffee is pretty good. My main suggestion is to add background music in the seating area- especially during slow times. I visited later in the morning and was the only customer in the store.No music. The only sound i could hear was the coffee machine. It was awkward to sit in silence while eating my sandwich. I also wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing a friend knowing everyone could hear our conversation. Background noise helps to drown that out.

I met up with my team for a meeting and it was very welcoming. The atmosphere is cute and spacious. I had a hot latte that was delicious, as well as a Caprese omelet. Staff were friendly and we got to learn how the cafe began. I love supporting small businesses and we’ll be back!

Such a cute downtown spot!
They have unique decor inside and out. I love the location right by the stream. There’s plenty of indoor seating. It’s warm and comfortable. Staff is always genuinely kind and helpful.
The business is constantly doing projects or ideas that get the community engaged. There’s a pay-it-forward option where you can pre-purchase a menu item and leave a slip for whoever aligns with what you’ve written on the slip to redeem what you’ve purchased. A unique idea that is individual to this small business.
Food and drink are delicious! I’m still thinking about the honey mustard panini I ate two months ago. Lots of menu options for both food and drink. It’s a delight to see different varieties of freshly baked goods available upon every visit. Prices are good, but definitely adds up quick if you order anything other than a drink. Serving sizes are typical. My only note would be that I think there’s ripe opportunity to decrease menu size to focus on more speciality items… While delicious, the sandwiches can be kind of basic. This has its positives, but I personally don’t want to leave feeling like I could have made it at home. I want a special menu item that makes me crave so bad that I can’t resist going back.
Overall I’m very happy with my experiences at this cafe! Can’t wait to go back!

Deliciously good! Ended up visiting this cafe twice during my weekend stay in Chambersburg. The omelette I had was delicious and the peach lemonade drink was so refreshing. Highly recommend.

We have tried this 3 times. All 3 times it was overpriced for the quality. I was so upset. Like how are the cupcakes that dry? Just don’t even try the frappe. It’s horrible. Brought my kids home the strawberry shortcake. They spit it out… They had no clue we didn’t care for ours.

This is a great little coffee place I’m a regular here and they remember my orders and what I like. They have multiple options like gluten and dairy free and vegan pastries. As someone with food challenges it is good to be able to ask what is in something and they can tell me. Everything is fresh and taste and the coffee is very good. I would much prefer going here than give money to a big corporate coffee place. They know my name and my preferences
