I had the best chicken salad sandwich I’ve ever tasted at Adrian’s Cafe! The bread was absolutely perfect—fresh, soft, and flavorful. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients, and everything tasted so fresh. The lunch deal was a great value for the portion and quality. I left full and happy. I’ll definitely be back—this place is a hidden gem!

A hidden gem, one of the best and freshest places in KC. Absolutely try to get there once a week. Everything is made from scratch and flavorful. Fresh bread, soups, deserts, sandwiches and more.

A true hidden gem. I drove over 30 minutes to try their sandwiches and wow was it worth it!!! This is hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I love that the bread is fresh and sliced right in front of you. I will definitely be back as this is my new favorite spot in all of Kansas City. Very fresh food and so well made. You can tell it’s made with love and to me that is worth everything. You can tell the employees enjoyed their work too which I absolutely love. I got a two meat sandwich based on another reviewer’s picture made with pastrami and corned beef on sourdough. I also had a chocolate chip cookie that was made to perfection.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPOT. You will be happy with your choice to try them!!!

I had Adrain’s cater some portions of a Bridal Shower. We ordered some of the chicken salad and tuna salad as they are my favorites. We also ordered some of the carrot cake which is amazing. Adrain made the process so easy and had it all ready for us early on a Saturday.

Adrian’s is truly one of those hidden gems. No signs on the bank building (that I could see). In an industrial park area. But it is one of my favorites. I kick myself for not coming here more often. The food is always good, and do NOT leave without getting some carrot cake!

Another hidden gem inside the Central Bank building in Lenexa.
Simply homemade sandwiches, rotating homemade soups and scratch desserts. And the best hack – they put their homemade bread heels in a basket that you can grab for your soup.
I got a 2 meat sandwich, with corned beef & pastrami, on white. Incredible.

I love this place but today I got a pastrami sandwich and the pastrami tasted burnt. I wa so disappointed. It is in an awkward location so I don’t get there as much as I would like. This is the first time in years I was disappointed.

Tried out this little cafe today for lunch. It is located inside the Core First Bank at 95th and Renner. The restaurant is a decent size and is located just to the right after entering the main entrance of the bank. They offer a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads and deserts. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. The food was very good and was very fresh. I highly recommend you give this establishment a try.

My husband and I were in there yesterday for lunch and the minute we walked in Guy (the owner) said, “Hi, how are you? You two look great”. We said thanks, so do you as he had lost some weight from the last time, we saw him. My husband did some work for Guy at the restaurant several years ago, so he knows both of us when we visit for lunch. Nothing out of the ordinary for him to be friendly and acknowledge when we come in…..until it got out of hand. He proceeded to come around the counter and shake my husband’s hand and then gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek and at the same time grabbed my butt. We don’t know him on this kind of level, so this was really awkward. He asked if we were married meanwhile grabbing my hand to see if I had a wedding ring on. We told him yes. As he proceeded back around the counter, he kept saying I don’t think you are married. Do you have your marriage license, driver’s license, or anything showing me you are married. Meanwhile one of the workers who has worked there for several years was trying to fix our sandwiches. Guy said don’t charge them, it’s on me. The worker said OK and I proceeded to tell him what I wanted. Guy grabbed the workers hand and said no, I got it. The worker left and stood in the doorway to the kitchen watching it all unfold. Guy comes back around the counter and proceeds to get close to me brushing up against me touching my boobs (trying to be discreet) meanwhile telling my husband how he overcharged on the work he performed years ago….that he was so happy about at the time and all the other times we have come into his restaurant raving about his work. Guy walks back around the counter and the worker says you have taken this way too far…and out we left.
