We came here twice over the past 2 days. This is my gold standard for hospitality. A perfect little hidden gem.
I wish I could’ve tried every single pastry in there. Everything we had was delicious. The chocolate croissants were flakey and delicious. The shortbread apple pastry (I am blanking on the name) was incredible. My partner got a goat cheese and sundried tomato puff pastry that was super rich and delightful.
The caprese was my favorite item by far, and I tend to order them anywhere I can. This one might actually be the best caprese I have ever had.
Katie is the most welcoming person ever. There is so much pride and love in this café and she is a representation of that. She shared the story of the family cafe and how they got to this point. Told us about how fresh everything is and how seriously they take “from scratch”. She is so lovely.
I absolutely adore Adore!!!! Everything about this Café is delightful and wonderful and amazing. I will return any time I can.

A brilliant cafe with delicious pastries and fabulous teas. The customer service here is spectacular and love the place. Tried a few things like the spinach quiche and lamb biscuit pastry. The matcha latte and teas matched well. Truly a nice place. The desserts, awesome in every way.

There’s plenty of free self parking.
There’s a nice outdoor patio that’s somewhat shaded.
The case is nicely decorated with plenty of indoor seating.
Katie is very warm and friendly. She made good recommendations.
There’s lots of options… both savory and sweet. Didn’t get a chance to sample their vast coffee and tea options. Hopefully next time I visit.

Being French, I was so happy to find a French bakery nearby in Redondo Beach, and Adore Café et Dessert completely exceeded my expectations. The place may look simple from the outside, but the moment you take a bite, you’re transported straight to France. Anytime I miss the taste of home, Adore never disappoints. Patrick and Cathy are incredibly kind, welcoming, and truly care about their customers. I can’t recommend this place enough: an absolute must-go!

Highly recommend trying their cream puffs — you have to get one! The most surprising treat was the ice cream: light, refreshing, and so delicious that I couldn’t stop after the first bite. A hidden gem in redondo, I have told everyone about it. The pastry chef, his wife amd their amazing team focuses on a perfect experience for everyone, everything ive been there. Ive never had anything less than perfect and the petit pain au chocolate reminded me of my youth growing up in Belgium. I told my boyfriend this is why I never eat American croissants because they are nothing like what they should be, crispy, light, delicate, delicious and fluffy on the inside; but they are a peice of heaven here. Along with the quiesh, bread and everything else!

Update 1/14/2024: Lunch and then took some dessert to go today….still exceptional! Still great people! They couldn’t be more friendly and asking for feedback on what could be different or better….but there was nothing to improve upon. If you’re not giving this place a try, you are missing out.

When Patrick and Katie left the Riviera Village, we were so bummed.
But now they’re back and just down the road on Catalina.
New digs are bigger, more spacious, and very nice. Indoor and outdoor dining – with a courtyard area.
Plenty of free parking and oh yeah…..the food and desserts are still fantastic!
Love speaking with the owners (so great to get some insights with our treats) and they are super gracious and grateful for every customer coming through the door.
Please….please….give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Great little patisserie I stumbled upon walking. All product looked of excellent quality and well made. They had both savory and sweet items– tarts, filled croissants, quiches, and beautiful little cakes. Also a nice coffee selection.
I had a rhubarb tartlet, an almond paste filled croissant, and a generous slice of quiche Lorraine (ham and cheese). All tasted great and well made, as someone who makes all 3 at home.
Fantastic little outdoor courtyard seating, as well as a nice setup inside.
Very nice owner and staff. A real treasure to have this place in your neighborhood, wish I lived closer!
