Really enjoyed our Saturday brunch! The posole was too hot for me, but I’m a little sensitive to heat. Everything else was on point. Prices are a little elevated. We’ll be back.
From their website: “Immerse yourself in an ambiance that blends rustic charm with modern elegance as you indulge in delectable Latin-infused dishes created by our talented chefs.”
And a search: “offers Latin-inspired cuisine, craft cocktails, and an upscale atmosphere with options for gluten-free, vegan, and mocktail drinks, plus weekend brunch, happy hour, and late-night service.”

I’m so excited about the new Latin food spot opening in downtown Salem! Sophisticated cuisine and delicious drinks are just what we needed. It’s truly unlike anything else in town, adding a unique flavor to our city. I can’t wait to try more of their menu. It’s a must-visit for any food lover! Salem is becoming quite the foodie destination. I’m already planning our next visit.

Attended a Tequila Tasting Event at Adobe …Wow! Wow! Lots to report on this relatively new establishment in downtown Salem (housed in the former Epilogue Space).
Now – Confessions first. I am allergic to Tequila – severely. This event was a work thing with hubs, his boss and staff members, as well as others. So no Tequila for me! Also, I confessed to the lovely Itzel Sagastume, Adobe owner along with husband Chef Diego, that I have never been a fan of Mexican food of the kind served in chains or fast food takeouts.
However! The Adobe has created a next-level, Utopian pipe dream of deliciousness that shouts a labor-intense, labor-of-love passion for turning out something more than just ”food” by the . I am unable to pronounce most of the menu (see pics of curated food cocktail menus). You don’t even need to – just drink in the gorgeous presentations and dive in. Even the herbs used (and there were many) that I use daily in my own kitchen from my garden don’t smell or taste the same. The charred octopus, which many people have either never tasted nor wanted to, is glorious all by itself.
The restaurant interior has been transformed into rustic elegance with light, bright openness, the service is provided by warm, friendly and efficient staff.
Graciela Gonzalez was the El Mayor Brand Ambassador hosting the evening’s Tequila Tasting – gracious and knowledgeable about all things Tequila.
The Staff working their magic were Cesar, as Server, Molly and Francisco at the Bar, and Ana and Ernesto in the Kitchen assisting Chef Diego.
Go! Taste! Enjoy! I promise you will return again and again!

Had a great time here several weeks ago for my husband’s birthday on a very stormy night. Pisco sours were spot on! (We love our pisco sours.) Both servers were great—friendly and knowledgeable. Had the grilled chicken flautas for an appetizer, based on first server’s recommendation. Very tasty and nice portion for sharing. Hubby had the spicy shrimp for main entree and enjoyed it. I tried the chicken skewers and they were muy deliciouso! Loved everything they came with too. Our friends had some tacos which they enjoyed. They were out of one dessert so the birthday boy ordered the Triple Leche cake. ¡Muy rico! Waiter actually brought us an extra piece for free which really added to our celebration! Overall, a really nice experience. We’ll be back.

Met my friend here for brunch on Sunday. Great atmosphere, everyone was super nice. They warned us that the food might take a little bit because there was only one chef, but it came out in a very timely fashion. Food was excellent, my compliments to the chef!. Cheech went out of his way to serve us. He was very attentive. I will definitely be back!

Food was packed with flavor, service was excellent, friendly staff and tasty drinks.
They have a smaller portion section on their menu which was perfect for me since when I’m having a night out I don’t like to get weighed down by food too much.
We happened to go on a night where they were doing salsa dance lessons. So it made my experience a bit awkward having about 20 people looking in my direction while dining.
Overall it was nice place and I see myself going back.

The food, oh my goodness, the best meal I’ve had in Salem. We will be back to check out brunch, Dinner and their Salsa Dancing Nights! recommend!

WOW. Brunch, lunch, or dinner has always been a hit for us here. Having brunch this morning and tried the Cafe de Olla drink and French toast and WOW. Don’t sleep on this place. Incredible experience, clearly ran by people passionate about their craft.

I can’t begin to say what an incredible job Diego and Itzel have done here. Between the food, the staff, and the decor not a single detail has been missed. Because of my job I’ve been in kitchens that have operated for 10 years that don’t operate half a smoothly as these guys just two days in. The servers are attentive, the bar tenders know their stuff. This is already such a great addition to downtown Salem.

Not great. I got a pretty well done steak when I asked for medium rare. Nothing is seasoned except with salt, and a lot of it. Rice and beans tastes like nothing. Prices are outrageous compared to the quality of the food. Only positive was the margarita!
