If you love great food over great decor this is your place. This is by far the best tasting mexican restaurant around all of downriver. Verde salsa was out of this world with a great kick behind it, and the birra was full of flavor and consume was perfect and could be enjoyed by itself. Overall this has become my new favorite go-to.

Great food, best Mexican I’ve had downriver and we eat Mexican 2x a week, we usually drive to Detroit so it’s nice to find a place local that fresh and tasty. Really kind owner. Love the guac and salsa and everything we ordered was really great too.

Pricing is a tad high considering the open kitchen and cafe-style decor. I like the lightness and brightness. I could do without the TV. The table service was good. The staffer can come across with more confidence because she is doing her job well. The food was a little slow coming off the grill, but came hot, fresh, cooked to perfection and pleasantly seasoned, and there was plenty of it.

If you know old school Mexcian Restaurants this is most definitely that. We were very happy with the food we received. Yes, it did take a moment but only because it is cooked fresh. I don’t mind waiting on food that is being made with love. Portions were good and I felt the prices matched for what you received. I’m excited to try their Menudo and Tamales on my next visit.
