So, during our recent stay, we ate lunch one day and breakfast for all 4 days. Beautiful restaurant. Clean and well appointed. The staff was nice and professional. Good menu with what you would come to expect at a hotel.
My ONLY negative comment is that on the 1st day, the hashbrowns were NOT up to par. This was the burnt scraps that were on the grill as you can see in one of my pics below. The other days, they were fine. This day, they should NEVER have been allowed to leave that kitchen like that AND the wait staff should have noticed it and caught it before placing the plate in front of me.
Was not a deal breaker for me and I look forward to my next visit and meal here. 5 Stars!

Adelene’s is a good breakfast spot in Ocean City. They have a pretty big menu, and I ordered the “The Port-O-Call”. This meal included a pancake, two eggs, and bacon. The portion seemed a little small, but tasted good nevertheless. The atmosphere seems higher-end, and the prices seem to reflect that as well. Overall, I enjoyed the food, service, and general atmosphere. I give Adelene’s my recommendation.

The breakfast at this place is excellent. Even with dozens of breakfast places to try in ocean city, we ended up eating here 3 times during our short stay in O.C. Probably the best waffles I’ve ever had. The friendly and courteous staff who made sure everything was safe for my son who has an allergy. Nice view of the ocean as well.

Each fall we go to the Port-O-Call for a few days. We always enjoy our food at Adelene’s. You cannot beat the food or the wonderful team working at the restaurant. In particular, Sarah does an amazing job. We hope to see Sarah there next year!

Highly disappointed.
Staff was pleasant and friendly.
We ordered Little neck Steamers and we were served previously frozen White Clams from Vietnam, which were void of flavor. I ordered the Marinated Grilled Chicken that was dry as can be and well overcook. My girlfriend ordered the Lemon Scallops that were nicely cooked, however they were swimming in a copious amount of butter. The green beans I ordered as my side were soggy and obviously frozen(they reminded me of Costco frozen green beans). It was nice that the restaurant allows BYOB, but it would have been nice to get clean glassware when we sat at the table and a wine bucket for our bottle of wine so it didn’t go warm before we finished.

Not sure who’s idea it was to fly an OPEN flag on days they are closed but… Fail. Walked 20 blocks for a nice lunch with the family.

Update: came back today to give them a fair shot. Nobody at the front desk and nobody at the host stand. No customers either. This place is pretending to be open for some reason. 0 for 2.

Great service by Kathy and delicious omelet. Beautiful environment! Prices were all around $10 which was really reasonable for a hotel restaurant overlooking the ocean!

The service was great. The food was average at best. Plus I had a hair in my French toast. Don’t think I’ll be back any time soon.
