Absolutely delicious. I ordered take out from around 20 minutes away. The mac and cheese had literally just been made as it was piping hot and sooo incredibly delicious. My smash burger had so much flavor it was still with me 30 minutes after eating. My husband had the burnt ends. Again the food was cooked perfectly, hot and off the flavor chart delicious! This is a must try! 10 out of 10!

We were really excited to try this place because of the reviews and I am actually East African so seeing mishkaki and masala fries on any menu is exciting. I never write reviews but I had to after the food we were served and the $$ spent. We ordered the Cajun Mac n cheese, brisket and beef bacon burger, and beef mishkaki platter sub masala fries. The Mac n cheese and burger came out first and the Mac n cheese was the best thing we ate. The beef brisket burger was incredibly dry and not juicy at all – we couldn’t get past 2 bites. After about 15 minutes of waiting, the mishkaki and fries came out. The fries were cold and some were undercooked and instead of beef mishkaki we received mixed mishkaki which was chicken and shrimp, which is fine mistakes happen but the chicken was clearly reheated and the shrimp was rubbery, again only two bites and we couldn’t keep eating. The mishkaki isn’t really mishkaki because it was not chargrilled nor did it taste like mishkaki does at all the dish was more of a sizzler.
Our server noticed that we didn’t eat our food and we explained why, he took it to the back and came back offering new meals to go which was kind but after such issues with the food we were disappointed that a manager didn’t even come out to address the issues, they just peered through the kitchen door window – especially after spending over $70 for 2 ppl. Really wanted to love this place but that was not a great experience at all.

TLDR: Absolutely fantastic Halal experience and highly recommend anyone to give it a try. Everything is Halal too. Downside is that the food is quite pricey, but the quality and service is worth it. I got the BBQ Ribs with fries and cornbread, and my friend got the Brisket & Beef Bacon Sandwich w/ fries.
The ribs were so tender, fatty and juicy, and were marinated very well. The fries were very crispy and seasoned nicely, and the cornbread was pretty good; a dessert on its own. Each rib bite was incredibly addicting and delicious. I also highly recommend getting a side cup of their BBQ sauce. It’s amazing and pairs so well with the ribs.
My friend thoroughly enjoyed his brisket and beef bacon sandwich. He also enjoyed it with the side of BBQ sauce. Both dishes were very heavy, but we both finished the food fairly quickly because of how good it was.
The service is very friendly and surprisingly quite quick. I don’t think we waited more than 10 minutes for our food. Only major downside is the price. I think the ribs were almost $30 and my friend’s brisket & bacon sandwich was close to $20, but considering how amazing the overall experience was, I’d recommend trying it at least once.

I will be back!! I drove 30 minutes with friends to come here to break our fasts, the food came super fast and was delicious. The seating was perfect for a bigger party of 9, and the staff accommodated all our needs! They ended up coming in the middle of our meal to give all of us free mojitos!! I’ve never been treated so kindly at a restaurant and i will certainly strongly recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.

Addy’s BBQ is a great new addition to Broadlands, offering a Halal-friendly menu with some creative fusion options. The scene is cool and inviting, though as a newly opened spot, there are still a few growing pains—like empty napkin dispensers and meals served without plates unless you ask. Small details that I’m sure will be ironed out as they settle in.
Now for the food:
Spicy Wings – Tasty, but I’d suggest asking for the sauce on the side since ours came out a little soggy. The wings themselves had great flavor.
Brisket Quesadilla – Absolute standout! Bursting with flavor and paired with a spot-on salsa. A must try.
Cajun Chicken Sandwich – Good, but not quite as memorable compared to other dishes and local options.
Jalapeño Poppers – Pretty standard bar-style offering, nothing remarkable here.
Burnt Ends – One of the highlights! Served with vegetables (a first for me), tender, smoky, and delicious.
Loaded Fries, Another must try crispy fries piled high with generous toppings, absolutely delicious.
The staff deserves a mention as well, quick, attentive, and always available when needed. We’re already planning to come back to try more dishes, especially the South African-inspired items that looked amazing.
Highly recommend Addy’s BBQ if you’re in the area, it’s a spot with a lot of promise, great flavors, and a unique menu that’s only going to get better over time.

Addy’s Barbeque in Ashburn is amazing! Their BBQ is halal, which me and my family really appreciated — it’s such a refreshing change from the usual halal spots. The brisket was incredibly flavorful, smoky, and packed with that deep BBQ taste that shows they’ve truly perfected their craft. The owners were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect experience. Definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend

I was really worried this place would be hyped up for no reason like I’ve experienced with others, so I drove here from Winchester to try it out and was pleasantly surprised! The burgers are worth the price. The taste is unique and I think this was my first time not needing to add mayo or ketchup it was delicious as is! I also appreciated the fact that they have actual utensils! It gets tiring eating at halal places and dealing with plastic plates and forks. Highly recommend, and definitely adding to my go to places.
