We’re Adams Rib and we’ve been a bar and grill here in Green Lake, WI, since 1978. Family owned and operated, Rachel’s parents were big movie buffs and wanted to showcase that passion in the most important time of the day, mealtime. Adams Rib is a family-focused and fun place for the weekends or any excuse to get out of the house and have a great time with the ones you love. We treat you like family. We are known as The Rib for our homemade specials and sandwiches and have all locally owned craft beer on tap. We’re looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve the residents and vacationers of Green Lake and surrounding areas. Stopped in for dinner on a recent Saturday night. The wait to be seated was about a half hour. We took a quick walk and returned to be seated. Seating area is not overly large. Not sure if that take reservations or not? I could see if it were real busy, wait times would be a bit. Ribs, chicken and a couple choices of steak were the main items on their dinner menu. (There is also a lunch menu). I went with the prime rib while others in our group had ribs, burgers and some pasta.

When you think of a small country town bar and restaurant this the place. Adams ribs is located downtown green lake this cozy restaurant is next to the Dartford green lake dam, offering dinner and a beautiful view. The staff is amazingly warm and welcoming and makes you feel like a local. The atmosphere is pleasant with lots of smiling faces! Now let’s get to the food which is made like your mama’s kitchen. Recommend checking the specials, we had a delicious pork dinner, patty melt and grilled chicken salad. All made fresh and cooked to perfection. Overall a place that we not only make you smile but your tummy happy as well. Don’t forget to ask about the desserts, the carrot cake and bread pudding are always a win win.

I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THIS FOOD AND THIS SERVICE. I had every single appetizer and the filet mignon. I have been to hundreds of high-end restaurants and this steak was cooked better than almost all of them. Phenomenal! Will be back for years to come. So glad we found this place on a whim. (We had bad service at Chops, another restaurant nearby, so we left and walked to Adam’s. SO glad we did.)

Stopped in for a light supper yesterday evening, it was quite good! The gal behind the bar was friendly and very accomplished at her task, as was my server. Service was reasonably quick (they were fairly busy),and the food, though simple, quite good.

Very friendly and a local favorite, we were quickly seated in a popular place. Service and prices were spot-on and we really enjoyed our meal. The ribs were fantastic, and the Sweet Potato Waffle Fries were exceptional. Really impressed with the hustle and energy the wait staff had in taking care of customers.
