Service was okay, food had more to be desired. As an Avid foodie and Latin. I know Latin food and this is definitely NOT the best I’ve had. Almost as if there was something missing or not the right ingredients. Presentation was okay, the taste was not all that great. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

For what it’s worth, I really enjoy going to places in the United States where I forget I’m in the United States. Restaurants off of Central Avenue in Charlotte are perfect for that and Adamary’s is no exception. Do they speak English here? Possibly. Or maybe they speak as much English as I do Spanish. Either way, I never found out. The menu: Spanish. The tela novellas on tv: Spanish. So I broke out the 20% of Spanish I remember from high school and had a great time at this place. Now onto the food… I ordered the Arroz Con Pollo which is one of my favorite Mexican dishes. It came with chips and three salsas: a tomato, green, and pepper (???) salsa. I was a fan of the first two but couldn’t really vibe with the last. Didn’t matter. I liked that the chicken had a fair amount of cheese. And the rice was tasty. Friendly service. I don’t know if she could tell I don’t speak a lot of Spanish (let’s be honest, she probably could) but I think she appreciated the effort. I hope to return and try some other goodies that caught my eye: pupusas, tortas, tacos.

Food was authentic and delicious. I would not recommend going at night but for lunch a great hidden gem. Ordered the guac and California burrito.

This place is a Gem for sure. Does not disappoint. Food is homey and tasteful. Recommend the pupusas, any of the enchiladas and any of the caldos.

Got 6 tacos and a drink and came out paying 28.34 which is a lot compared to some other nearby taco places… that’s not including tip.
3 tacos were 11.25 and the other 3 were 9.50 the drink (horchata) was a whopping 4.50$ plus a service charge? .76$

I’ve eaten tacos from countless restaurants and trucks in Charlotte and Adamarys is hands down the best. The red salsa is the best in Charlotte and probably half the reason I order takeout from here at least 2x a month. The meat is on a different flavor level than 95% of the places serving tacos in town.

The folks here know what they’re doing!

It’s a hole in the wall and I hope it stays that way but I also hope other people get to experience their food.

If you don’t speak Spanish, order online! It’s super easy!

Ordered the Torta de asada and the pupusas with rice and beans with 2 horchatas. The food was edible but had no seasoning and no real taste to either of the meals. Pupusas were made with the wrong kind of cheese and the chicharron barely tasted like anything. Horchata was chalky tasting. Overall I’d give this place a 4.7 out of 10 and I wouldn’t spend my money here again.

Had the experience at this small place on Central Avenue. The owners are Mexican, the food is Salvadorian and the server is Colombian! Multi culture place with amazing food! The Pupupas are so delicious and come with a tomato salsa and spice cabbage slaw. The burrito, rice and beans were amazing as well! Definitely will be back and support this small business!
