My brother and I came here for fish and chips “perch” it was awesome!
Crispy, not greasy with a good amount. Was $21 for the full order, cash only but they have a working ATM.

Took a drive as recommended by my Aunt for lunch. We’d heard great things about their fish. Since it was on special, we ordered burgers and spicy cheese bites. Cheese bites were fantastic! Burger came with fries. I had the mushroom and Swiss burger which was good, but a little overcooked for my liking. Overall it was super filling and a great time.

My client was late and I had an hour to waste. The closet restaurant was Adair bar. So, I decided to have Lunch! What a friendly place. It’s definitely a neighborhood hangout! I enjoyed the friendly Banter between the owner and customers. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries! If you are craving “bar food”, this is a place to go! I will definitely go back when I am back the neighborhood! Stop in if you are in the area! What a pleasant surprise. 7 hours later, I am still full.

Still can’t get over Michigan prices but the fried fish at Adair Bar were delicious! Being English I can say this is some of the best deep fried fish stateside. Unfortunately I’m hardly ever in the area but if you live nearby or are passing through make sure to try some of the fish at Adair Bar.

Absolutely love this place, its as old school as it gets. Also has a little piece of Detroit history tucked away in it… fish and chips are a must have on Friday. I’m desperately trying to make one of their Sunday fried chicken dinners. Heads up people! This is a cash only business, an atm is inside, but just come prepared.
