The overall ambience, wait staff, and restaurant itself were excellent. The space was extremely clean, comfortable, and relaxing and made for a great place to spend an evening.

The main courses were all superb, particularly the pasta dishes, which were well executed and flavorful. Appetizers were also very good. The Tuna Tataki was a standout appetizer and highly recommended. The tiramisu was beautiful and a wonderful way to finish the meal.

The only downside, and it did not detract from the overall experience, was the carpaccio. While the plating was creative and visually appealing, the dish lacked depth of flavor and was somewhat difficult to eat. Shaved Parmesan rather than larger pieces, additional seasoning, and something like capers could really elevate it and add balance.

Overall, this is definitely a restaurant worth visiting, and we would happily return.

10/10! Food is beyond incredible. Service was excellent. Hospitality is top tier. You’re greeted immediately and with a great attitude. The restaurant is beautiful. Everything came out quickly and cooked to absolute perfection. Drinks never went empty and empty plates were cleared in a timely fashion.

I usually do not write reviews on Italian restaurants in this area, because I was born and raised in Italy and I have hard time finding any good ones (no offense! ). However, whenever I do find one that I like, I always make sure to spread the love! Everyone always asks me if I know a good Italian place I recommend in the area and Acquario is the ONLY one I absolutely do! We love everything about it: the food is always, consistently amazing! The service is top notch and unmatched. The vibe is perfect for all of the occasions and the place is very beautiful! Best thing, selfishly speaking, is close to my house! Since we’ve discovered Acquario, we’ve been going there for any special occasions, for double dates with friends, for happy hours or special events. Last night we were there for our anniversary and we are never disappointed! The owners and the whole staff are outstanding and always very accommodating. I even took a good friend there as a guest to share the experience and get her opinion, as she’s a wonderful chef from Italy, and she was very impressed and got her approval too!
Grazie mille, Acquario! Bravissimi!

4.3 stars. Looking for something different to usher in my wife’s 50th birthday, I booked us a table for four at 7:15 pm for dinner. We arrived early which was met with no issue as the hostess happily seated us. Our server greeted us and proceeded to ask if we’d like bottled water or tap. We opted for tap and began to look over the menu.

He had a table of what appeared to be a group of 12 who kept him running constantly. This likely impacted him as he was not particularly friendly nor inviting. Again, he was not rude but did not seem interested nor welcoming towards us.

Wife ordered the Left Hand Milk Stout ($9). My sons and I skipped drinks and ordered a Crab Cake ($23) and Grilled Octopus ($22) for appetizers. Both were excellent and beautifully plated.

My wife had the Tagliatelle Boscaiola ($32). She absolutely enjoyed the rich mushroom earthiness but would’ve liked more pieces of them in the dish. Our oldest son had the Casarecce Con Brasato ($27). He liked it but was not particularly blown away by it. Our youngest son opted for the 4-course prix fixe option ($49) which hit on all notes. From the soup to the two pasta courses and the tiramisu, it was plenty for him and just right. I had the Pollo Parmigiana ($28) which was among one of the better ones I’ve had. Crispy and perfectly fried, the chicken and the accompanying pasta was very nice.

At the end of the meal, the team brought out a tiramisu with a candle on it and sang happy birthday to my wife. This was much appreciated.

Overall, the experience here was a good one. A little more warmth and friendliness from our server would’ve bumped this up a notch, but the mission was accomplished as my wife and sons were fed and happy. The prices here are on the high end so save it for a special occasion.

I don’t know what took us so long to try this place, but it has now become a favorite dining destination. Starting with the waitstaff and owners Nino and Elda, you could not be treated any better. Then there is the food — and oh my gosh, it is incredible. The chef knows his stuff, and he shows it on each and every plate. I can’t say enough about their wine dinners and the 4-course Chef’s Menu on Monday nights. On Fridays at lunch there a great Branzino option, that is to die for. You won’t go wrong giving this place a try; I can guarantee you it won’t be your last.

Acquario Italian Seafood (8849 Davis Blvd Suite 100, Keller) – 5/5 stars

Acquario is a true new gem in Keller: an upscale, chef-driven Italian seafood restaurant that feels like it’s aiming higher than the typical neighborhood Italian spot, and it actually delivers. The menu is built around coastal Italian flavors, fresh seafood, and polished execution, with enough variety to satisfy both seafood lovers and anyone who wants classic comfort Italian done properly.

Food quality and style
This is the kind of place where the kitchen focuses on clean ingredients, balanced seasoning, and proper technique instead of drowning everything in heavy sauce. You can tell there’s care in how dishes are built: bright acidity where it should be, good olive oil and citrus notes, and seafood that tastes fresh rather than “covered up.”

Best places to start
If you like raw or lightly seared seafood, the crudo-style starters are a strong sign of quality. Options like tuna tartare, amberjack, and tuna tataki show the restaurant is confident with freshness and flavor balance. If you prefer non-raw starters, the appetizer section includes classic crowd-pleasers like crab cakes and other Italian-American favorites, but with a more refined, upscale touch.

Pasta and mains
The pasta selection is a major reason to come here. The menu leans into housemade pasta and well-constructed sauces, from richer comfort options (ragù style dishes) to lighter seafood-forward pastas. Seafood mains are where Acquario really shines: dishes like Chilean sea bass, salmon with lemon-caper style sauces, shrimp scampi, shrimp fra diavolo, and cioppino-style mixed seafood plates fit the coastal Italian theme and feel like “destination” choices, not afterthoughts. There are also steak options if someone in your group isn’t in a seafood mood, which makes it an easy place to bring mixed company.

Dessert and drinks
Dessert is worth saving room for, especially if tiramisu is on the menu. Drinks are well thought out too, with cocktails and wine that pair naturally with seafood and pasta. They also have a happy-hour style window (often called Golden Hour) that can be a great way to try a few items without going all-in on a full dinner.

Atmosphere and service
The dining room feels modern and polished, but still warm. It’s a good choice for date night, birthdays, or bringing guests when you want something that feels special without being stiff. Service has that attentive, professional style you expect from an upscale place: present when you need them, not hovering, and generally knowledgeable about the menu.

Value and tips
It’s not a cheap restaurant, but for the quality, portioning, and overall execution, it feels worth it. This is the kind of place where you’re paying for real cooking, fresh seafood, and a more elevated experience. Because it’s gaining attention, reservations are a smart idea, especially on weekends.

Bottom line
Excellent new gem in Keller for Italian seafood. If you want coastal Italian flavors, fresh seafood, housemade pasta, and a polished dining experience, Acquario is an easy 5-star recommendation.

After a long day of work with no break I was craving Italian food. This was the perfect spot. Was open a little before 4pm, quiet, cozy and the food was delicious and filling. Now I want to make my own whipped basil butter. Igot perfectly cooked and seasoned scallops over risotto. The servers were very attentive. They also have a good wine selection. I’m coming for dessert next time.

Aquario is an Upscale Italian Gem with Outstanding Food and Unmatched Hospitality

This lovely little restaurant has quickly become one of my absolute favorite local spots. Located right on Davis & Bear Creek Parkway, this small, upscale Italian restaurant offers a cozy, intimate atmosphere paired with exceptional food and service.

We’ve been coming here since shortly after they opened, and it’s only gotten better with time. I still think about the crab with black ink noodles, which was my favorite dish — full of bold, slightly spicy flavor and beautifully presented. It has since evolved into a fantastic cioppino, and it’s just as delicious. The entire menu is thoughtfully crafted, and everything we’ve tried has been consistently excellent.

They also have a great wine list, including high-end selections and cocktails made with quality liquors, yet they still offer a nice house wine at a reasonable price, which I appreciate.

What truly sets Aquario apart is the hospitality. The service is unparalleled — every visit feels personal, warm, and welcoming. The staff is not only professional but genuinely friendly, and they treat us like family every time we walk through the door.

Whether you’re celebrating something special or just craving amazing Italian food in a relaxed but refined setting, Aquario is a gem in Keller. Highly recommend!

Appetizers were excellent, especially the Eggplant dish. Shrimp were huge on the cocktail. The bread and butter could use some work and the entrees came out beautifully displayed but the taste did not wow me as much. The restaurant was very loud so it was difficult for most of our party to communicate. Service was off the chart good and Autumn took very good care of us.
