What a gem, what a treat. I love food, and what I love even more is simple good food, and this place NAILS it. My partner had told me about this local to Minnesota and Wisconsin eatery, and I was not ready for what I was in store for.
It was a simple meal, I got a turkey sandwich and a soup. The Soup was Beer cheddar. It was creamy and rich, with sauteed carrots that were delicious. The soup was so tasty that I was instantly on the internet, searching for recipes to learn how to make this amazing concoction. The sandwich was also very good, but it was made with fresh ingredients and prepared well. The bread was fresh, and the turkey was nice, juicy, and thickly sliced.
My partner got a banana foster latte, which was pretty good. It tasted more of coffee, sugar, and cream than banana foster, but there was a hint of banana, so we will forgive this one small issue that had no overall effect on the meal.
This was such a simple and good meal, I will be back, and I will be trying everything I can get my hands on.

What a delightful find. We were in town for business and stopped at A.C. for lunch before driving back to the Twin Cities. We enjoyed delectable hoagies and soup in a relaxed setting that felt as comfortable as a favorite pair of blue jeans. My new favorite lunch spot in Winona!

Was my daughter’s choice for lunch on our mini-vacay. Excellent hoagies — warm, gooey cheese, flavorful, with soft bread. She enjoyed her berry smoothie too. Plenty of seating and good customer service.

Atmosphere was rustic, with local elderly folks playing card games in the back area and younger ones finishing up lunch and meetings when we got in at around 2.
Servers were friendly (one more than the other) and super accommodating.
Food was awesome. I didn’t expect much, but the hoagie was yum, the pita was absolutely mouthwatering, and the cup of chili was one of the best I’ve had. I was happy cuz the chili had very little beans, and a popping flavor. Just what I needed.
Walk around the back outside and you get to a park and a nice view of the Mississippi River. Except for all the construction going on out front, this was a perfect little stop.

Excellent coffee, pita and soup! No wait, but we did arrive early on Friday. Inexpensive. Order at counter. Booth and table seating. Food brought quickly. Soups, salads, hoagie sandwiches, pitas and deserts on menu. Many coffee drinks, teas, and soft drinks….my friend loved her Italian soda.

It’s a cute little cafe. I got the chia latte and that was really good. Service was fast and friendly. Kind of wish they had a matcha latte but I’m not going to take away a star just for that. I didn’t try their food but I will be back for that. Also the atmosphere was great 10/10.

Beautiful little cafe in downtown Winona! Food arrived shockingly quick for how busy it was. $40 for two people with smoothies, soups and pita pockets. We had both smoothies and honestly the berry blast was a 10/10 but the tropical twist was still good.
The service couldnt have been more friendly! It seemed like all the ladies working genuinely loved being there and it was very welcoming.

Fantastic cafe and sandwich shop. My wife and I arrived just at the crossover between breakfast and lunch. She loved the croissant breakfast sandwich, while I enjoyed the soup and half sandwich combo. The coffee was delicious. I take mine black, well she normally enjoys a latte. The coffee was smooth enough that she even liked the package.

Such a lovely atmosphere here – the staff are all smiles, helpful, and kind. Service is outstanding! Had a turkey sandwich and it was delicious – that bread is awesome! Good selection of ice cream and soups as well! This place is also SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. They also have some outdoor seating as well!

One of my top favorite restaurants to go to! They have the best hoagies around, the photos do not do them justice. I highly recommend going in here and giving the food a try!! The ice cream is also very good! It can be a little difficult to find parking some days.
