New Orleans standard in Baton Rouge. Easy access to the interstate. Food was very good, service was a little slow (but pretty sure she was new at it) and atmosphere was good.

Went after the Wearin’ Green Parade. The service was impeccable and all the food was delicious. We ordered the butter beans, fried shrimp platter and shrimp po boy. The best oysters!! The pecan praline desert was delicious. My least favorite dish was The New Orleans Medley, not good at all.

Hands down best chargrilled oysters! The oysters are fresh, large, and chargrilled to perfection. They are dressed in unique toppings that’s not listed on the menu but ask the cooks about them! The customer service was phenomenal the restaurant was clean and the energy was positive!

We should’ve known when there was only one table with customers at dinner time on Friday when we walked in .. but wow what a great disappointment!

It was good, not great. Our server was new, which isn’t his fault. The bar tender was really kind and thoughtful when I wanted to know more about craft beers from the area. The chargrilled oyster app, the fried oysters and the fried soft shell crab (which came on our big player meal) were the 3 best things we ordered. The batter on the fried shrimp is a little too salty. If you like Hazy IPAs then you must try Jucifer by Gnarly Barley Brewing Co.

Great service at the upstair bar. All the oysters were from northern waters, so smaller and richer flavor. The bartender (female) up there makes great Old fashions!.

Nothing to see here… long wait list, so we decided to sit in the bar area. I have been disappointed in Acme at different locations, but decided to give the Perkins location a try.

I decided to try this restaurant out, since it’s next door to a bookstore I frequent. The food and service was remarkable. The waitress, Courtney, was very friendly and hospitable. I had the fried catfish with fries and onion rings. The meal was magnificent. The atmosphere was even better, too. I would (and will) come back again when I come to BR.

Food is great here. Prices are reasonable. Drinks are great. Has a New Orleans twist on dinning. Oysters never have grit in them. Best overall Oysters in town due to the expertise food preparation. I will give it a 5 star because of good service which is hard to find.
