Definitely gonna recommend this place to my friends and will come back, whenever I’m visiting the US, again.
My family had a chicken shawarma and chicken gyro and loved it. My son had a side of fries and it was enough to share with two others. I highly recommend it!
I had lunch at Ace’s Gyro Shack today, and let me just say—this was one of the best lamb steak plates I’ve ever had.
From the moment the plate was served, I could tell I was in for something special. The lamb steak was perfectly grilled—tender, juicy, and bursting with rich, savory flavor. It had just the right amount of char to give it that smoky, mouthwatering aroma without overpowering the natural taste of the meat. Every bite was a masterclass in how lamb should be cooked: succulent inside, seared outside, and seasoned to perfection.
The plate came with a generous portion of fluffy, aromatic rice that soaked up the lamb juices like a dream. The pita bread was soft and warm, ideal for scooping up the meat and rice together. And let’s not forget the tzatziki sauce—creamy, refreshing, and garlicky, providing the perfect cool contrast to the bold flavors of the lamb.
What really sealed the experience for me was the attention to detail and freshness in every component. Even the side salad was crisp and vibrant, not an afterthought like at so many other spots.
The staff were friendly, efficient, and clearly take pride in what they serve. You can tell this isn’t fast food—it’s food made with care and authenticity.
If you’re a lamb lover or just craving something flavorful and filling, do yourself a favor and try the lamb steak plate at Ace’s Gyro Shack. You won’t be disappointed.
Highly recommended. Will definitely be back!
Edit: Had the lamb steak gyro and it was also BOMB!
