I’ve been going here since I was a teenager 30 plus years ago and there El Burrito is still huge and delicious with everything in it because it takes 3 tortillas to wrap it. If you have a big lunch time appetite and are near the VA this is your stop. The ladies are nice and fast and will get it out to you pretty quick. People I’m not kidding about everything in it, the standard stuff beans, meat, cheese, rice, chili, some veggies to make the dieticians happy, and some more. Check it out if you’re hungry.
Food was good, tasted fresh. They were out of guacamole when I went, but that must mean it’s delicious, right? We ordered a chicharrones burrito and a combo plate with a taco and enchilada. The combo plate came with beans, rice, salad and a tortilla.
MAC n’ Cheese
Been going here for years. I would say the menu is solid. I like getting the breakfast chorizo and the meat burrito for breakfast. After trying out other taco burrito places here in ABQ I’ve come to realize that the food here is just average and something I just goto to get something hearty and not disappointing. The people that work here are very nice so I give an extra star.
I get to Town once a year. My first stop used to be Stuffys sopapillas, but they moved to only one location. This Alcaoulco is in my old neighborhood and it fills the green chile need right away. A better menu than stuffy. A real homemade taste
One of my favorite restaurants in the hood, I always remember my mom taking me here since I was a child it’s still the same and prices aren’t too bad!
Always the best burritos!! Only reason it’s not 5 stars is due to them not seeing the online orders. I typically have to wait 10 minutes for the order because they don’t see the online order (also paid online). Just a bit frustrating but worth the burritos.
Worst tacos I’ve ever had . It’s New Mexico !! The meat is unseasoned and everything was cold . Definitely not coming back and I don’t recommend it. It’s also expensive for the “ quality” of the tacos
Very disappointed, im a huge fan of the one I menaul ,on this one quality was so low, plain, shame!!!
Lived here all my life and this (building is first ever Blake’s lotaburger) Burritos specialty wonder hidden in the southeast heights near the VA hospital has the best Burritos in town. As a teen in the 70s would eat a red all meat! Green all meat yummy too just a bit more messy. Oh my! Since the late 90s they introduced a breakfast burrito and I just don’t eat a burrito other than here unless over an hour away if course. New Mexican here and gotta have a burrito when the hunger calls but this Alcapulco is the first one in town!!!
Walked up in the middle of the afternoon and ordered two burritos ~ ♥️ ~ Service was swift and food was delicious. Probably will start coming to this place all the time.First burrito I’ve have in NM, and it was litty. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
