The food here was awesome!!! It is so good to have a restaurant in the east mountains that has amazing food AND quick service. The burritos and breakfasts are some of the best around. Great job and welcome to the East Mountains. I will be a regular!

Been there twice now , live on South 14 and didn’t check food before getting home because the one on Wyoming is always spot on , big nice crispy chicharrones and excellent chilie , both times have been gross greasy and tough very small cubes , the relleno was limp and greasy as well ! This time called when my husband got come with the food , Manager said come in get a meal no charge , most likely will not be back no guarantee it will be better . Very unfortunate because there is no good Mexican food in Cedar Crest since Pete’s and Los Cuates closed ! I didn’t eat mine he’s wishing he didn’t , sorry for the review nice people BAD food !!

This place had a few great reviews, but I beg to differ. The burritos are reminiscent of gas station quality and my co-workers and I all decided the burritos at the gas station off Highway 14 and Sandia park are far better.
We ordered 3- Carne Adovada Red, Carne Asada Green, and Chicharron Red. None of us really had anything spectacular to say about the food. There was no flavor and we agreed that it was like the plain food you eat when sick, minimal flavor. The chile had no flavor in it and none of us could tell we had any. The last bite of my chicarron burrito was the most flavorful because it was full of grease and the meat was kind of dry.
We will give them one more chance, maybe they got a bad batch of chile? We’ll try a taco plate which is oddly served with salad and not the standard rice/beans. If that isn’t great, we probably won’t be back.
We had high hopes since there aren’t many places up here that we can quickly eat at for a lunch at work, but nothing exciting around here.

Older woman seemed racist, asked the white gentlemen behind me if they needed anything. I looked up thinking she was talking to me and said no ma’am . She didn’t even act knowledge me . kids were cool . Tamale was a 5/10. Pork was a little dry, masa needed a little more flavor . Possibly more lard . Chile was watery and didn’t taste like authentic NM Chile. Take that stuff back to California . Cool spot inside for some white folk .

Grossest Mexican food I’ve ever had. No flavor, the tortilla on my burrito smelled bad, the meat on the taco was dry, just no. I feel bad leaving such a bad review but it was really gross .

The food is seriously top-notch. Staff was super friendly and quick. Others have said it here, but the green chile sauce is really amazing!

I know these are not the same owners, but they have the same name. The one located in Albuquerque on Wyoming and candelaria is by far the best and the original Acapulco Tacos and Burritos. They have the best tamales and burritos. THis one was mehhhhh .
