* Response *

We were upfront about the allergy. My reaction is the usual reaction I get from pork contact. If the beans were not the culprit that means the server did not tell the cooking staff and they cross contaminated. Cross-contamination such as using the same utensils cooking surfaces spoons etc…

This simply means the pork allergy was not taken seriously.

we stopped in recently and told the waitress up front that I am allergic to pork. She assured me that the refried beans did not contain pork.

After eating the beans, I barely made it outside to avoid vomiting in the restaurant. Outside was closer than the bathroom.

At home we looked up refried beans. It is made with pork lard.

According to Google, your establishment serves the lard made product.

Pork allergy is real, its called cat pork syndrome. People allergic to cats are often allergic to pork.

We will not return since your staff doesn’t know what’s in the food. Perhaps thinking I lied about it too.

Everyone here was amazing helpful. The servers did not push and the intro hosts took care of everyone as best they could, as teaching a new employee at same time. Food was beyond delicious. Place clean. Felt comfortable and wanted.

The food and service were excellent. Some of the patrons left a lot to be desired, but that shouldn’t reflect on the establishment. Loud drunks at the bar and kids running wild were very much a distraction on valentine’s day.

I really like the Mexican food at this place. The burrito was fantastic Great flavor too much to eat at lunch so I took the rest to go. I really like how some of the booth have plugins, so if you’re having a work lunch, you’ve got a place to plug in your computer.

Very decent food options and reasonably priced. Great for a bite to eat before going out. The grande birria nachos are great to split among 3-4 people.

A small disclaimer would be that this is more of Americanized Mexican food, and not necessarily hole in the wall authentic menu. Never ending Chips and salsa FTW!

Nothing beat chilling with a ice cold Dos Equis Amber with lime in a frosted glass. Cheese Sauce with the chips is almost a prerequisite, especially if you add chorizo to it! Loved the Quesabirria Tacos. Reminds me of Barbacoa. The Chihuahua Cheese is so creamy and loved the crunch of the radishes and the crispy, cheesy exterior of the tortilla! The dipping broth is a nice touch. Partner’s Burrito National was filled to capacity with the same excellently seasoned, tender beef. Margarita was a little under the mark but, tasty and the service was not as friendly as in the past. However, the food was excellent and didn’t spoil our evening. Always an excellent meal!
