I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, the prices were a great value, and the service was genuinely attentive. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up dining there three out of our five nights.
A quick tip: check out their daily specials. Even though the prices are low, the portions remain impressively large.
Acapulco was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Service was great, food and drinks were fine. Portions are really big and it’s a decent value. The place is comfortable enough, if a little old.
Biggest complaint is how incredibly salty the food was. It will keep me from coming back.
I wanted to give a special shout out to our server Valerie – she was super attentive and checking in on us to ensure we had refills (Always a plus when there’s mimosas involved, ha) and that our plates were cleared at all times. Not only that – she was super good energy and made us laugh with good conversation throughout.
Foodwise – you have your typical Mexican brunch items (chilaquiles, enchiladas, pozole, menudo, etc.) – and a kids section as well for those that have children. Some of the items that were sitting out of course weren’t as fresh as could be – but that’s typically every buffet style. The taco station was the best part, the meat and tortillas were super fresh (asada, carnitas, chicken is what I had) — with a separate toppings station to customize how you want. I was too full for dessert – but they had flan, Jello, and other options.
Entertainment – they have a Mariachi band that goes around singing and playing their instruments. We didn’t have them come directly to our table, but it was nice feeling the authentic music vibes while eating and socializing.
Overall, it was a great time to have fun, catch up, and eat a decent brunch. I recommend. If possible, ask for Valerie!
