Ordered the lobster boil and some gumbo for Father’s day. It was excellent. Food was very very very delicious and hot and fresh. Owner was so polite … i highly recommend coming here. I will definitely be back the food is amazing. Great price and fresh. If your looking for a delicious meal try this place place out. You won’t be disappointed. … i give this gem a 10 out of 10. Looking forward to eating from here again soon.

I attended this bar for a Bob Marley tribute. The live band and the ambiance made it easy for me to sit and enjoy multiple drinks and apps for a few hours! The cajun menu is the smartest idea; along with the food flavors and presentation. You cannot go wrong! I plan to visit again for the seafood boil option. Very impressive spot for Taunton and the prices are perfect for a first date option on a budget. Ample parking.

We have been twice now in the last month, and both times dinner was exceptional. A key factor in our decision making when we have a date night is consistency, and Acadia nails it. I ordered the same item (garlic scallops over zoodles, which were cooked perfectly and not mushy the way my attempts turn out) both times, and it was perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious. Also highly recommend the crab cakes for an app—98% seafood and very little breading makes them light but incredibly flavorful. The hubs had the Cajun chicken pasta the first visit, and the tilapia with coconut rice on the second, and again, both winners. (Also, if you visited within the first few weeks, note that there was a chef change.)

Our second visit, the food was amazing both times! The drinks are well crafted, and the wait staff are knowledgeable and friendly. At this time, there is typically one person serving tables and the bar. I noticed some negative comments on that. However, this provided us the opportunity to actually talk and not feel rushed. No issues here! We met the owner and chef tonight, great experience! Looking forward to coming back with family and friends!

Went there for the first time tonight. Tuesday night wings for 50 cents each. We tried 3 flavors. All were awesome. Our meals were beyond our expectations and we enjoyed them very much. The highlight of our night though was Nick. He seemed to be juggling from bartender to waiter but was always present. He gave us great service and great conversation. We left with smiles on our faces. A special thanks to nick for that. . We will be back.

Love the concept. Newly open so it’s going through a growing process. The portions of the meals are sparse and arrive lukewarm…but tasty. Maybe they should charge a buck or two more and fill the plates. The drinks are delicious. Chelsea is definitely the stronghold here. Top notch service, friendly & attentive…definitely adept at her craft! I’ll return in 6 months to give it another chance if it’s still around.

I had an awful experience at Acadia last night. I’m a local patron who was very excited about trying and supporting this local business. Arrived at 7:10 and was promptly seated. Beautiful inside. Ordered with my husband and daughter. My daughter ordered the “ lobster boil” for 30 dollars. After waiting for about 35 minutes, we asked our waitress to check on food. We kept being told that “ kitchen was small” and boil dinner took longer. Another 15 minutes passed. No food. Asked to speak to Manager. Also kept being told they were “ sorry” and food would come soon. We were irate as now 1 hour and 15 minutes and NO FOOD. We were promised we would receive a discount and a mud pie for free??? Honestly just starving and would have left if not for daughter being horrified at the experience. Finally a tiny plate of a small lobster tail drenched in butter with dry corn presented as 30 dollar “ boil. Jambalaya mediocre at best. Creole chicken not worth the time. This was after 1 hour and 40 minutes of waiting with a half empty restaurant. Requested bill, waited 10 minutes and got up to find poor manager and waitress being berated by owner for comping us 15 dollars off bill. We heard them arguing. The owner then literally tossed us a 25 dollar gift card while sucking down a drink at bar. The manager grabbed her coat and loudly said “I Quit” and walked out. The poor waitress and manager! Hope the owner address major issues and starts to respect customer feedback. Horrible experience top to bottom.

I live in Malden and have driven to Acadia Seafood & Bar twice now! That’s almost an hour each way! So so worth it! Nick, the bartender is fabulous and the owner, Eddie, is fantastic as well. I went the first week they opened and then again 3 days ago. What a difference! Seems the place is running very smoothly! The ambiance is wonderful and the food is delicious. The place is cozy and clean! I recommend the crawfish boil with the house red sauce! Also, the crab cakes and wings are delicious for appetizers!
