Nice atmosphere! I wish I remembered our waitress name but she was wonderful and explained everything to my husband perfectly! We got the PECHUGA CON CALABAZA and that was one of the best dishes I’ve gotten from a Mexican restaurant! I usually get the Arroz con Pollo, so this was close but better!! Def will be back!!

All I can say in my opinion is that I think I would have picked Taco Bell first its just so overrated. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very beautiful inside. I just don’t feel like their menu has a variety of items. It was very basic and plain and for the price omgggggg. Lacked flavor, in my opinion. And the drinks weren’t all that either. But like I always say, I’m only one person, so you may think differently. My service was not attentive at all. I felt like he attended to the more upper-class customers

This was our first experience at Abueleo’s. To be fair, the dish I ordered was good (the Fajita Trio), but it was not memorable. It looked fantastic on the plate but looks can be deceiving. On the other hand, my dinner party of 9 total was not so thrilled with their entrées. Steak was ordered well done but was given rare steak instead, no biggie, right! That’s an easy fix. But the next person in our party of 9 ordered the Quesadilla with Steak and only received a bit size piece of steak now that’s just careless. Mind you, the restaurant was not packed. One ordered a chicken Quesadilla it was so stiff from waiting to be served it was was inedible. I had to ask for a tea refill after waiting 10 minutes because there wasn’t an offer for refills, and my ice had melted, but the waitress just poured warm tea in the glass. Awful service for a party our size, and the sad part was we didn’t require a lot, so why neglect us in your non busy restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food and customer service/care are lacking big time.

Was ecstatic to find this place as the one near our home in Ohio closed and we love it here!!!!!! Came for a family birthday party and just couldn’t get enough of it! The decor is so authentic and the presentation of food is mouth watering!!!! Ordered 2 appetizers and ate all of the combo platter. We ordered so much food and were not disappointed to have to take some home!! Service with a smile was excellent! Oh how we’d missed everything about this place!!

The food was great! We had the Grande and it was enough to feed me and my wife, then my son ate the leftovers the next day. The queso cheese dip is really good and a very large bowl with crispy thin chips. Could not ask for better service….if you go ask for Antwone he is spectacular.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was served timely and hot. Prices were comparable to other restaurants of this caliber. However, I must give special praise to the caramel cheesecake… absolutely devine… almost sinful.

Honestly, it is a respectable place with a nice architecture design. The steak and chicken taste (wish they didn’t marinate them). There are only 3 kinds of dessert that aren’t my cup of tea. To each their own, respectfully.

This was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. The sangria was tasty, the chips and salsa very good and we shared “the Grande”. DELICIOUS!!! Not overly stuffed but plenty to share… tough to pick a favorite 🙂 will definitely come back here if I visit Myrtle Beach again!

Tacos, rice and veggies were pretty good. The gluten free chips were baked and a little like thin cardboard. Edible but not the same as the fried tortilla chips normally served.

Terrible experience, waitress unaware. Started by taking a drink order bringing chips and NO salsa. After 30 mins she returned took order still no drinks. Ask for salsa at the time. And order cheese for the chips. She brings the cheese 15mins later still no drinks. Then say your drinks are on the way. So when the drinks arrive we order. Explaining we want fajita nachos. Chips chicken and shrimp with cheese. Our food came out 2 hours later everyone around us had eaten and gone. And the order was trash. Not nachos at all looks like something made in a microwave. Not 2 hours worthy had not chicken had looks fto be 3 shrimp cut into pcs and spread around. Its more but I don’t have time to waste 2 hours was enough.
