I placed an order online at 4:33pm scheduled pick up time 5-515pm I arrived on time I was told it wasn’t ready yet, i proceeded to wait for abuelitas Birria almost an hour after waiting and being told they didn’t know what time it would be ready I was told after an hour that my order was in the system but not received at the restaurant, however my receipt shows the time frame other wise, once I received my food I checked the bag and and the order was incomplete. This was a terrible experience. I do not recommend this place.I should not have to wait over an out for a scheduled food pick up. I feel like they prioritize delivery drivers and not people who order online. And on top of that I tipped them smh! I was told if I cancel they can’t do that and I have to file a dispute with my bank how inconvenient! And to top it off the food was incorrect I asked for guac on the side not inside the burrito, and worse it was black! The rice was not cooked well. I paid for two habanero sauces and only received one!

Don’t eat this ghost kitchen trash. My partner and I ordered from here last night. The bean and cheese burritos arrived cold, mostly unmelted grated cheese, and we had to heat them up. The food gave my partner violent food poisoning. I looked the place up and apparently it isn’t even a brick and mortar restaurant but operates out of a ghost kitchen shared by 30+ “restaurants” (many of which appear to run the exact same menu under different names). These places are notoriously difficult to inspect and regulate so it’s no wonder my poor partner has been completely wrecked by food poisoning. I wish these ghost kitchens were a way to not gate keep food service and allowed small businesses to flourish out of them but more often than not they are corporate trash and compete with actual family restaurants by flooding the food delivery apps with low quality options with glossy photos. Save your money (and stomach) and support small businesses.

The address is wrong on the website, it takes you to Amigos Mexican food 2 doors down. Abuelitas is located in Allied Food emporium at 1060 Colorado. Very confusing and embarrassing when it clearly gives the wrong address for this “restaurant” and you have to ask directions
