I’ve ordered delivery from Abu Omar Halal via Uber Eats a few times. The 2 for 1 deals are a good. The rice and salad bowls with lamb are quality (the produce looks and tastes fresh). However, they don’t offer tzatziki sauce (the garlic sauce is not an alternative for tzatziki sauce).
I’ve had specific questions before placing orders at Abu Omar Halal and each time they literally answered the phone as soon as it rang. The guys are really nice and have never rushed me off the phone (they even shared ways to save money on menu items). It’s obvious that they care about their business and their customers.
Please offer tzatziki sauce and I’ll order more frequently!

Hands down, the BEST shawarma in Houston! Even though this food truck is part of a chain with locations in other cities, this one truly stands out. The flavor is unbeatable – perfectly seasoned, juicy, and wrapped just right. The service is fast and friendly, and the portions are generous for the price. I’ve tried other spots in town, but nothing compares to this one. If you’re craving authentic shawarma in Houston, this is the place to go!

Food was not the best it has been. Definitely some consistency issues as well as being overpriced. Paid approximately $14.50 for arabi chicken shawarma with fries. That’s about it. Chicken was meh. Needed more spices or seasoning or something.

Abu Omar is , has been, and will always be my favorite spot to get Shawarma! I’ve been eating here for 5+ years, today my girlfriend (who is new to this place & had the Halal plate last week) wanted to get the Same Chicken Shawarma that I let her try soo we went and the food was AMAZING as usual . The service was great because the employees had the energy that made me feel like family. I had Beef, she got the Chicken and we shared it together . Everybody that I bring here loves it too , it could be 10AM mornings or 4AM at night …. THE FOOD ALWAYS HITSSS ! Thankyou Abu Omar

If you order through Uber Eats, you will NOT get what was described in the app. I have attached what I received compared to what the app described. I did not receive olives, lettuce, tomatoes, chick peas, and corn in my falafel with rice dish. Very DISAPPOINTED!!

Ordered chicken shawarma, no enough mayo layer and zero pickles. Ordered humus, it was supposed to come with pita bread but i just received humus without the pita. Shawarma test worst. I liked it but this time it was not worth it. Successful wasted money

The location in Cypress is a No, they were out of everything and the flavors of the meat were not that memorable. However the place on Westheimer is incredible!! The cardamom and other seasonings on the beef Arabi are exceptional. I dreamt about that toast beef/burito looking sandwich it was so good! Its all cooked perfectly and a real treat , something fast but fresh and reasonably priced but not cheap. Add a little garlic sauce and its mind blowing! We will be coming back next time we are in this area for sure. I do wish they had a tea, juice or lemonade to drink, currently they only offer water and coke.
