The cow foot soup was amazing I went in to order a small and when I tasted it I had to get a jumbo size. If you been in the lauderdale area and never had soup here before you are definitely missing out. Delicious.

I placed an order for myself and coworker. My coworker ate a bite of chicken and said it was too salty. They did not get to enjoy the food. I went back to the restaurant and the lady at the front (who was kinda rude) was giving me a hard time and she wasn’t able to replace the order. Based on my experience I wouldn’t order from here again & this was my first time. I will say I enjoyed my curry goat. Update 9/21 spoke to the owner explained the situation and he allowed me to get a replacement. Thanks!

This was my first experience and I have to say they exceeded my expectations! I love the small mom and pops whole in a wall because the food is very authentic and straight from the heart. No I am not saying it’s a hole in the wall but it’s not a franchise or watered down recipes that you are trying to make only just to keep up with the demand. I all diff types of food and I’ve had my fair share of going once and then going twice and it tasting completely different. My spouse and I were looking for a Jamaican restaurant and we came across this one accidentally because the one next to it was closed ( which is the popular) food chain. How ironic that they were closed and I chose this one because I was dead set on having home cooked food before we went back to RVA. I am glad I did and it was the best decision I made. I just came back home today and I am going to order again. When they were making the food I was telling my spouse, wow, this is a lot we won’t be able to finish it. And he said I know we will have some for later. Oh how I was so excited . The portion size for what we paid for exceeded my expectations and I was so happy that later on for diner we got to eat the left overs and might I add it was so good!!

According to Dirty Dining News today this restaurant had 20 rodent droppings. Not a place to eat from unless you don’t mind rodents and flies. Check the local news station regularly for these restaurants inspection results. There also an app for it. A lot of people back eating out again and then end up sick and don’t even know why

Went in just to get 2 fried dumplins. What I got was 2 cold balls of grease. Some grease I expect because it is fried, however that was inedible.
