Me my little brother stopped by here during the off season to visit and check it out. This is one of the nicest restaurants on Rehoboth Boardwalk. Great drinks and food. We will definitely be back in the summer

What a beautiful view we had while sipping on some drinks! I believe the bartender’s name was Max, who we absolutely enjoyed due to his friendly personality. It was decorated nicely for Christmas as well.

We had dinner and made reservations. I am glad we did because it was super busy. The food was really great, everything was cooked well and tasty. My friend said she was surprised by the cilantro in the marinara sauce of her seafood linguine but it didn’t take away from the flavor too much. Our server was very nice and attentive despite the fact the restaurant was really full. I must agree with other reviewers that the restaurant is loud inside and it was hard to talk without yelling across the table and the seats are uncomfortable. It would have been great if there were a few more options for people who don’t eat seafood.

Drinks were delicious! Would definitely recommend coming for their blueberry crush. However, the food was lacking. I got a crab cake sandwich and the roll was so hard/stale that it literally could have been a brick. I’m not kidding. I didn’t take a picture but the buffalo chicken meatballs were the only food we enjoyed. Service was slow. I would really only come here for a drink and to enjoy the views.

The Dunes is an absolute gem in Rehoboth! The atmosphere is upbeat and buzzing, and the service is quick and on point. The calamari was melt-in-your-mouth tender with just the right seasoning—truly crave-worthy. The fish and chips had that perfect golden crunch with light, flaky fish inside, and the fish tacos were bursting with fresh, flavor-packed goodness. Every bite was a win. Can’t wait to go back for more!

My girlfriend and I were celebrating our 4 year anniversary on 3/29 and our server’s name was Vlad. Vlad was super friendly, entertaining, and highly attentive between our table and the table next to us and often checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our experience and meal. At the beginning before we ordered our appetizers we informed Vlad of a food allergy and he was very understanding and thought very deeply about the food options we selected and whether there might be a food allergy concern. Ultimately no concerns and we were able to fully enjoy our experience! We were seated right next to the outdoor balcony and had a beautiful view of the shoreline during the sunset. The food was awesome, zucchini chips and ahi tuna was incredibly fresh and the Chilean sea bass was perfect! My girlfriend thought the fish and chips were just as good as the ones she had before in London (quite the impression!) The cocktails were absolutely delicious – 10/10 would definitely return again when visiting Rehoboth. We hope to see Vlad again!

Good/convenient restaurant on the boardwalk offering wonderful views of the ocean, dunes and people strolling the boardwalk. Food , service and inside atmosphere matches the outdoor environment. Good option for a late lunch or early dinner as they are open from lunch through dinner times.

My favorite place in Rehoboth. Actually came here twice the last time I visited. Got the filet and it was delicious. My son got the Mac & cheese one night (so good I ordered it) and the kids pizza the next and loved both. My husband was less a fan of the lobster ravioli but got the seafood pasta the next time and was happy. Would very highly recommend (but make sure you make a reservation). Would definitely go back if I was ever in the area. Must go! There’s a reason you need a reservation!!

A+ Food and Atmosphere! We came in for lunch this weekend as part of our pre Christmas trip and were very impressed with the extent of Christmas decorations. It was the best display we experienced all season. To top that off, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious! Service was just as good. Great to see a local restaurant take things up a notch and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere at the beach, in the offseason. Thanks so much for all your efforts! Also can’t beat the perfect view of the ocean!

We had lunch recently at Above the Dunes on the Rehoboth boardwalk and it’s a spot worth visiting. The view from the balcony is spectacular — ocean and boardwalk stretching out right before you. 
The menu is broad but focused: plenty of fresh seafood (raw bar, shrimp, Chilean sea bass, oysters), but also bowls, flatbreads, and burgers if you’re with someone who wants a simpler option.  We found the service friendly and responsive, and seating on the balcony or next to windows over the boardwalk made for a genuinely relaxing meal. 
If you’re after a nice mix of good food, drinks, and views — especially in a casual beach-town setting — Above the Dunes delivers. Would recommend getting there early for a balcony seat.
