This place has always been excellent every time we’ve gone. The sweet pancakes are a must and don’t bother with syrup. Doesn’t need it. It’s the perfect amount of sweetness with a buttery crispy edge.
Their house black and tan coffee is also a must. We buy a bag of it every time we go to bring home and brew ourselves. They will grind it up for you if needed.
I couldn’t even begin to recommend any of the food because so far it’s all really really good.

Was pretty crowded and had to wait for more than 30minutes.Went there for brunch. Ordered catfish fries, chicken almond wrap and a cup of soup. The soup had a clear taste of red pasta sauce. Catfish fried was flavourless. The wrap was okayish. Though the service was amazing and the ambience was good too.

Excellent food and the service is top notch, I was there the day of Mardi Paw parade and the place was busy. Our waitress was awesome. I wish I could remember her name. The beignets are amazing!

Food and 1st experience was great. Me and my husband shared the beignets and we both had gotten a strawberry and pina colada smoothie. My food was the cajun country sub the sweet cornbread cake for a pancake. And the husband had gotten the wild western omelet with hasbrowns and a side of grits. Only negatives about the foods were the grits needed more flavor and my husband had asked for no Jalepenos in his omelet but they had still put them in there other than that the flavor of the food was great. Only thing I didnt agree with pricing wise was the side of grits being $4 for a small little cup of grits but I get it with the price of product. I will definitely be returning for trying different things .

Our group had a wonderful experience at dinner here the other night. We received excellent service; the food was hot; and everything was delicious! And, the staff was very friendly and attentative. If you’re looking for a place where you can hear each talk and enjoy good food, I highly recommend Abita Roasting.

This was my first visit to Abita Roasting Co. in Covington. I was very pleased with the service we received from beginning to end. The hostess was very polite & informative about our wait time for a table. Our server was incredible (Blake)! Also, our food came out quickly. We probably waited 10 minutes for it to get to the table after we had ordered (maybe 15 minutes…maybe). My only complaint is the prices. We paid a total of $50 for 2 people to eat at lunch time (including the server’s tip). For me, that’s a little pricey. Overall though, we had a great visit to this restaurant! It was a very pleasant experience! I will definitely go back again & I will also highly recommend this place to others! Keep up the amazing work Abita Roasting Co!

THE best breakfast! And coffee!! We had the sunriser and the Cajun country dishes. The sweet cream pancake was delicious!! I had a white chocolate mocha and it was probably the best one I’ve ever had. Tonya was our server and she was excellent.

Wow!! This place is great. The people are super friendly and attentive…..and THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!!! Hands down the best biscuit I’ve ever eaten, and I have eaten my fair share of biscuits. Their breakfast sausage was unique and delicious, as well as the cornbread cake and everything else we ate! Literally am dying to go back until we’ve tried everything on the menu.

Sat outside to enjoy the Tchefuncte River and it was nice. The acorns and fungi falling from the beautiful oaks into the food was not so nice. The Beetlejuice bloody Mary was awful. The Cuban had barely any meat on it. Our server was awesome. Overrated for sure. This was in Madisonville.

Great brunch place! The Flambeaux-rito is delicious. If you love cheese this burrito is drowning in crawfish queso. Definitely worth ordering!
